I sent a photo to the SL fb page showing what I’d like done to my hair, this was for a wedding I am going to at the weekend.
I booked a consultation, in person I showed the same photo again, got told it would require full-head bleach and toning, on top of this I booked treatment, cut, wash and blow dry (I guess this is hours worth of work, I understood that and agreed.) My appointment was re-arranged to another day as I couldn’t make the original appointment, but the lady I spoke to (I think her name was Priya, apologies if spelt incorrectly) still knew what I wanted and assured me what I wanted could be done the next day instead.
I booked a day off work, arranged childcare for my son, and travelled half an hour to the salon.
I got in the chair half an hour late (I did not originally mind this as I presumed I’d be getting what I wanted done eventually.) We spoke again of what I wanted and I showed the picture once more as a reminder, for me to be told all of a sudden it was not possible. Apparently the colour was not possible (or maybe could be possible in several sittings, this is not true) so why was I ever told this colour could be done no problem? Eventually It got made out to be a timing issue that it would take hours, WHY was this an issue when I am booked for a full head bleach, toner, wash, cut and blow-dry?!
I said “I do have the time, do you mean YOU don’t have the time?” And this apparently was the case, so what was I even booked in for? Like I say I had booked time off work and arranged childcare for my son, and for what? To be told what I cannot have what I came for, which I had been told could be done only days before?!
I then said ok well my hair needs doing before the wedding, this is my last chance to get it done before Saturday so can I go for a safe brown then? Whatever I asked or suggested: “No that will take too long.”
?! WHY AM I EVEN HERE? I was not a problem client, I didn’t book a haircut and then try to add on all these extras, I specifically booked for a full head colour so WHY was there not time to colour my hair? I felt they wanted me to just get out the salon?! WHY???
I didn’t want to give the salon any more money, but felt I had no option but to at-least ask for my hair to be cut as, again like I said, I have a wedding to attend on Saturday. I asked for it to be done on dry hair so that I didn’t have to pay for it to be washed and blow dried, god forbid I took up more of the time I booked.
I woke up that morning SO excited for my new hair, instead I left this salon GUTTED and angry.
I immediately visited a different salon on the way home, they found the colour I wanted IMMEDIATELY, and I am booked in for tomorrow for it to be done before the wedding on Saturday, no thanks at all to serenity loves. I will never return, and am advising all my friends and family to steer clear!!!!!

Took my little boy (15 months) to get his hair cut and the lady was so good. She let him get in the car then he decided he didn’t want to stay in so she let him sit on my lap. Me and my daughter had a cut with Chloe on Saturday I honestly can't thank her enough she did an amazing job on both our hairs, my hair is sooooo thick that I offen feel like I regret having it cut because I ask for it to be thinned out and I can never tell if they have touched it but Chloe listen and actually asked if I felt it was thinned enough or if I wanted more this never happens she has made me love my hair again I actually can't wait to go back and have her doing it again.
