What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I like to go into an event with a plan that aligns with what my clients and guests will be expecting, but I don't overprepare too much in exactly what I will play - I like to leave room in my sets to be flexible, take requests, and adapt to the reactions and desires of the crowd. This allows my to build the energy as the party goes on.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
There is so much incredible music in the world from past to present - I'm always trying to listen to new music and find great songs to incorporate into my sets.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing music bring people together in celebration. Nothing bonds people like singing together out loud to a beloved song while dancing the night away - I love being part of facilitating these experiences.
What inspired you to start your own business?
DJing music for people is my favourite thing to do, and you know what they say... "Do what you love!"
Why should our clients choose you?
I am easy to work with, highly organised and have great communication. I'm very client-oriented with years of experience in customer service from my previous career.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I didn't do any DJing at all during covid aside from a bit of livestreaming from the comfort of my own home. Now that there is time between us and the challenging circumstances of the pandemic, I'm grateful to be back playing live events in-person.
DJ - wedding/private event
I serve as the DJ for your wedding or private event! I can also function as master of ceremonies on the microphone, introducing speeches, guests of honour, and activities. I will play any music you desire during the event, and beforehand we will work together to make an online playlist of music that youd like to hear at the event (and also any songs or artists to avoid!). Optionally I can also record the audio from the event so you can listen back and relive the memory!
Sound/lighting hire
I provide my own DJ equipment to plug into your venues sound system, but if the venue does not have a sound system, I can help source a sound hire that is perfect for your event and within your budget. I can also help source lighting to make your event stand out even more! Please note that these services are extra on top of my standard DJ fee, but I will work within your budget and offer competitive market-standard rates.
