Scruffz Pet Car Services have been excellent! The owner Paul, was very accommodating with scheduling us in with next to no notice. We quickly arranged an introduction meeting and were shown credentials which put our mind at ease, walking of our 2 year old miniature poodle commenced the very next day! We were kept informed of the time of pick up/drop off and even received photos of the fun day our pooch had! We have recently started to use Scruffz and have been more than impressed with the service provided and the care given to our beloved dogs - 2 young and energetic lurchers! We have used similar services before and have never been that reassured by their reliability, however Paul at Scruffz has exceeded our expectations. He is communicative and reliable but more importantly he treats our dogs as if they are his own and they love him. Paul has great dog knowledge & experience and chooses walk locations which I know suit our dogs and that they enjoy. They are suitably tired and content when they get home. We get updates on pick ups and drop offs and photos every now and again which cheer me up when I'm at work! We booked Paul to look after our cat Jack while we were away for 2 weeks. Jack is scared of strangers and can usually only be handled by myself and my husband. Paul was able to stroke him on the second day and could pick him up by the end of our trip. This has never been achieved by other pet carers we have used. I usually worry when we are away but Paul sent daily updates and pictures of play time so I could see that Jack was being well looked after. We have already booked Paul for our next trip! More...

Paul is fabulous, he is amazing with my dogs it’s like he actually speaks their language! We left our 2 with him and our kitty cat whilst on holiday and the love, care and attention he gave them was unparalleled and we trust him implicitly. He’s always around to help out with walks for my boisterous husky if I’m struggling to get out and I know she is going to come home a very tired, happy dog! I can’t recommend him enough, we love him! We have known Paul for the last 2 years since we got our rescue Jack Russell Terrier Nutmeg. He has been invaluable helping with her socialization and she now loves going out with him and his pack.
Nothing is too much trouble and he has helped us out with extra dog sitting and walking when we were unable. He recently house sat while we went away on holiday for a week. From the initial phone call, Paul has been fantastic. My dog Jeeves loved him instantly on the first meeting. Paul came for a meet and greet and spent hour getting to know my dog.

He sends regular puctures to let me know my dog is safe. Jeeves loves playing with him in our back garden on a dinner time.

Paul stepped in at very short notice to look after our 3 bunnies.
We were sent daily updates and by all accounts they clearly gave him the run around, making our children laugh at their antics! !!

Paul has looked after our Golden Retriever since she was 1 years old. She absolutely adores him and loves the time he spends with her. Paul is great at communicating and sending updates, really helpful and flexible when plans change or there is a special request for help and couldn't take care of her any better. Paul's services are absolutely fab and I honestly wouldn't go anywhere else! Our first experience was of the pet sitting service which we booked over the course of a long weekend. It was brilliant - we had regular updates as to what they were all up to which kept our minds at rest and the dogs clearly had a great time as they were sad to see him go! Since then, they have been on regular walks with the Scruffz pack. Paul goes above and beyond what is expected of your typical dog walker and has been very accommodating and patient with my Dalmatian who can be fearful of other dogs. I have looked after my friends dog before but I couldn't let her out during the day and some times i worked late. This was when i met Paul, he listened to what I felt Jinx needed and looked after her Jinx as if she was his own. This time around it was at very short notice and i didn't have half the stuff I needed for Jinx. Paul managed to help me out and supply me with all the equipment and cared for her just as well as before. Paul even helped out with Jinx's aggression to other dogs, when Jinx's owners came back they could not believe how calm and relaxed she was. Thank you Paul for the outstanding effort you put in. Paul is an amazing dog walker and a behaviour specialist. He has managed Cookie ever since we got her and it shows in the body language that he is the pack leader with his dogs. Not only does he drain the dogs out, his pack also helps train dogs and can many times resolve minor issues with their behaviour. I am sure he is capable of sorting out more behavioural issues especially since he has attended a program with Ceaser Milan (If you dont know who he is, then it is about time).
