My dogs love going to Scrub A Dug Dug. Stephanie is so caring and attentive to their every need. I, personally, love the one dog policy (or in my case 2 dog policy as they go together) as my dogs are really quite nervous around other dogs. Today was my wee 6 month old first ever groom at scrub a dug dug and I am totally delighted. I absolutely loved the meet and treat before his actual appointment as we got to have a wee nosey and place is absolutely stunning, a proper wee spa for pooches and stephanie is just lovely. I wasnt able to take wee guy today so mum did but stephanie had asked what I was looking for etc before appointment and just generally made me feel at ease as Its my first fur babies fur do appointment. I'm honestly so delighted with his groom and I know it could have been a bit of a mission as hes such a hyper wee guy but just love love love his new look and he can see again Haha!! The Scrub a dug dug Palour, has a lovely relaxing atmosphere,I spoke to Stephanie about Oscars sensitive/itchy skin, she talked me through the treatments Oscar would be having, as well as recommending what to use on Oscar to help relieve his itchy skin. What do you love most about your job?
I spend my days with dogs of every shape, size and temperament. I get to learn more and more each and every day about these wonderful animals. I get to pamper dogs that have been rescued - this is the ultimate joy! Working with dogs is a blessing - some make you work hard to gain their trust but when they do, it's so rewarding. Being a dog stylist, I get to release my creative flare and challenge myself. Over-all, my job is my sanctuary. When I brush a dog's hair, the worries of the world just slip through my fingers and then, I breathe.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have four dogs at home and I wanted them to experience true pampering when getting their routine grooms!
Why should our clients choose you?
I provide a very precise service which caters to a niche market. If you would simply like your dogs hair cut, I am not for you. If you are looking to bring your dog to a place they can truly relax, have fun and learn how to behave during a luxurious pamper then I am for you. Every dog is given one-to-one attention and nothing is ever forced. I work with your dog at their own pace to ensure I keep them safe and comfortable at all times. Sure, I give them a hair cut, but I do SO much more than that!
Mobile Microchip
Providing gentle microchipping services across the central belt of Scotland. Keep your pups safe at home for this procedure. Reduce the stress inflicted through taking the pups to the Vets. Stephanie was trained by Peddymark and uses Petlog Microchips. Each litter receives free whelping collars along with vouchers for every new pawrent for pampering services at the Spa. There's also additional money off dog breeders who use our services more than once.
Dog Grooming
We have a range of different services to cater to your dogs individual requirements from de-sheds, to bath and fluff dry to full style and creative grooms. Each dog will attend a free, meet and treat session prior to pamper day which involves a health and handling assessment followed by playtime. Each pamper session is divided up into bathing, grooming, playtime and toilet breaks to ensure they stay relaxed and happy throughout.
Luxury Canine Taxi
Our American-themed taxi is a furtastic way for your pooch to travel in style! We have two large suites to the back of the van, comfortably fitted out with soft bedding and fairy lights. We have canine lullaby's playing to help relax them and we always ensure we drive safely at all times. We are fully insured as a pet taxi.
