Paloma made my son feel very at ease before and during his screening and she also made me feel very comfortable and able to relax with a hot drink while the screening took place. The Screening was quick and Paloma took time to go through everything and explained the results and next steps while my son was able to play in another room. She is very knowledgeable and has give us lots of advice and tips of how to move things forward. We had the written report 2 days later and we have been able to take it into school. Paloma is a lovely lady and she is very good at explaining,to understanding the test she does and the results on the computer. I had both my children tested with Paloma.My son 3 years ago and now my daughter. I brought my son to screening for dyslexia after feeling like something was ‘off’ on my sons learning . From working in schools and doing early intervention , I have seen the difference early intervention can do ! I've been worried about my son, Jack aged 11, for many years with regards to his reading and spelling. His primary school gave him extra support but whenever I mentioned dyslexia to them and asked if they thought that Jack was dyslexic I was always brushed off. Now that he has started secondary school I thought that I would get him screened. Paloma was fantastic - Jack was put at ease immediately and was not worried at all. Paloma then did a great job of explaining the results to me. We were recommended, by a friend, to Paloma at Screen4Dyslexia in March 2017. We had concerns about our 14 year old son and were keen to have him assessed before he started his mock GSCE exams.
Prior to the referral, we had spoken to his school and another dyslexic organisation. It appeared that a screening report would cost in the region of 400-£550. The information we were given was somewhat confusing, at times conflicting and we were very unsure on how best to proceed. After speaking to Paloma we realised that she was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but she advised us on the best assessment (which was accepted by the school) and it came at a fraction of the cost.
Our Son visited Paloma in her home office, in Thames Ditton. She put him at ease, wasn't judgmental and he felt it was a really positive experience . The communication after the assessment was exception, this included an in-depth discussion about how best to support him moving forward and a very detailed report.
We can't recommend Paloma enough and would highly recommend speaking to her before proceeding with any other Dyslexia Screening provider. More...

I cannot praise and thank Paloma enough. In her half hour feedback after my daughter's screening she has given me more support and recommendations than my daughter's school has done in 5 years. Paloma has been able to pinpoint exactly what the issues are and how we can can move forward. We had been concerned about our son aged 8 for some time and decided to go ahead with an assessment. Paloma was extremely professional and welcoming and put my little one at ease. The test was quick and Paloma explained the results to us very clearly, along with advice and recommendations for next steps. Paloma also offers ongoing support which was greatly appreciated. I wish we'd found Paloma sooner; she really knows what she's talking about. I urge anyone considering using her service to proceed without hesitation. The screening itself was unstressful, my son left it feeling happy and relaxed. Results were clearly explained and the report has proven very useful in working with our school. I'd been worrying that a negative screening result would leave us at a dead-end, but Paloma's vast experience lead us out of that with practical (spot-on) suggestions for further investigation, following which we are now in a far better position to help our son. Paloma recently screened my son for Dyslexia. My son is aged 7 and struggles with reading and spelling. I had had concerns for sometime regarding potential issues around Dyslexia.
