Completely unreliable, took all the money he could from me, said he was going to shop and didn’t return, left very unsatisfied. I would not recommend

Initially was very quick to reply and pop round to assess my two roof leaks (main roof and conservatory - 2 separate leaks). Seemed friendly, polite and knowledgable.

£850 quoted with a guarantee for both leaks which I thought sounded reasonable for two jobs and next day service. Came round the next day with two or three other gents to do the work which took between 2-3 hours.

Was advised to remove chimney due to it being in a bad state so I agreed. My main TV aerial was attached, but upon completion of the job the aerial has leaned more and more and is now hanging over the edge of the house into next door's garden and bin path - a major hazard given the size of the aerial.

I have been chasing for a reply for 3 weeks now to come and sort the aerial and have received nothing in response, despite seeing being active on Bark and Whatsapp.

I have also had no word of receiving the guarantee so this has made it seem like a lie at the time to secure the job.

The original jobs do look to be solved, but I'm very disappointed regarding the lack of reply to come and address a hazard that was caused by the work, and the promise of a guarantee which was never delivered. More...

Very poor. Had a roof leak. Came out quickly and arranged work to be done and advised what would be done.
Work was carried out in just over an hour which was surprisingly quick for £650.
By the afternoon my roof was leaking worse than before and flooded my room. Making mess of ceiling and carpet.
I called them back and they sealed up the roof and said they would skim the ceiling once dry.
A week passed, and roof standing water worse than before job was done and when I ask for them to come back I get no reply to my messages. More...

We noticed a leak in our roof last night and within minutes of putting details on Bark Scoular was in contact and willing to attend my address to assess the damage the very next morning at 8am. He arrived 15 minutes early and was able to locate the problem and provide a quote within 10 minutes of arrival. Not only this but he was able to sort the issue the very same day.
He and one other worked efficiently and for a fair price.
With the weather the way it is, we would have no doubt suffered a lot of damage if it wasn’t for Scoular attending and fixing the issue so quickly.
