We booked Sark as we were in the area for my sisters hen do, it was amazing! Delicious food, amazing service and we just felt so welcome and happy 😊. The staff at Sark couldn’t do anymore for us if they tried, so kind and patient (there were about 18 of us 😆). The cocktail bar upstairs was perfect and the guys serving us were 👌🏼. Absolutely fantastic place! food is amazing, staff are very friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about Coeliac disease and cross contamination. They made my 14 year old daughter a special gluten free starter and made her feel confident in their service and not getting glutened! Lovely lively welcoming atmosphere. Thought we’d give Sark a go for Valentine’s Day (eve) instead of our usual takeaway. We had been warned about the portion sizes and we weren’t disappointed…they’re huge! ! And the food is sooo good. Wouldn’t even change date for a big booking as half the table has COVID with proof, rude and arrogant saying need 48 hours notice, oh hang on people who have COVID wasn’t positive then! !! All we wanted was to change the date so we and they are not loosing out! It is law now surely if you have COVID with proof can offer refund on your deposit paid! More...

As regular monthly Sark diners, we were highly disappointed at the service we received on Saturday 13 November. We normally indulge in a three course meal, but elected to go straight into the main on this occasion. Unfortunately we were not offered a dessert menu, but instead asked if we would finish our drinks upstairs in the bar. We would have been more than happy to accommodate with this request had we been offered desert, but instead we were rushed to vacate the table. Strange concept when we had to ask the slow waiting staff to clear our empty glasses and bottles after delivery of our platters, so we could actually navigate around the table. Unfortunately we had to stand around in a congested bar, finishing off our drinks, as there was inadequate seating to accommodate our table. Perhaps the booking system and time allocation per table seems to be taking a backseat in preference of poor service and turning tables. This is not the Sark standard we are accustomed to and really hope this is not the way forward for the restraunt. More...
