I am absolutely loving my singing lessons with Sandra. I had my consultation session back in December 2021 and have been singing with Sandra since then (now 6 months). Sandra has brought such a spark of joy to my 2022, which was so needed after the last couple of years. She is such an expert at her craft, but also so friendly and approachable and ready to help/correct to bring out the best in me. It’s not just my singing that has dramatically improved, with my now being able to hit notes and hold tunes I thought impossible, but also my self-confidence and willingness to try new things! The future is rosy…also I so enjoy working with you and your enthusiasm is infectious!

It all started with a request that I sing Ave Maria for my daughter at her wedding. After some thought, I realized that I should get properly prepared for this momentous event so with the thought that I would never find anything remotely what I wanted around my home town, I started my search online. Everything was located nearly 200 miles away!! However, I came across Bark.com and I found Sandra. To discover that I could achieve my objective through the use of Zoom was brilliant. What an amazing journey this has been and still is. I have learnt much from the skill and support of Sandra. Not only has she helped me develop my singing skills, she is highly motivational and has got me to the point where I am participating in her delightful world wide zoom concerts, which is such an encouraging and supportive means of inspiring confidence in me and for all involved.

I have have quite a few lessons with Sandra now and if I had to sum up our lessons so far I’d say if you were going to choose any coach…you can not got wrong with Sandra Scott!
She is the most loveliest, kindest, big hearted person and she 100000% knows her stuff!!

Joining the WALL OF SOUND CHOIR in Rye has been the best thing I have done for some years! It has been a great way to meet people and make new friends, both in Rye and in London, where the other half of the choir rehearse. We have great fun singing a great variety of songs, from folk to classical, to pop. Sandra writes all the harmonies herself, adapted to suit the choir. Wall of Sound. What a find! I had only been the odd extra in church choirs before, so my repertoire was very limited. Would I fit in? I need not have worried. Sandra and all of the choir were so welcoming and helpful, and the atmosphere was really friendly, fun and relaxed. Sandra is an inspiration and she is really patient and encouraging. We work hard, learning a wide range of songs, but the rehearsal time flies by as we are all enjoying singing, learning and being together. After singing in choirs for 30 years I have found that I started to have problems with my voice. Sandra has been teaching me singing now for about half a year and helped me to develop my voice in a careful way. She has gone through aspects of singing, teaching me to use my voice to the best of my abilities. She helps me learning new music by teaching me how to tackle difficult parts and how to develop the singing of a piece of music. I have had singing lessons with Sandra for a number of years, and I can truly say that she has transformed me and my voice completely . I hadn’t sung since school and was a little shy and thought that I had quite a narrow singing range. I met Sandra quite a few years ago. She is an amazing singing teacher who always finds a way to explore and develop each person’s strengths. As a result her students turn into confident performers who enjoy every minute of their stage presence. I divide my life into two sections - before Sandra Scott and after - such is the impact that this wonderful woman and her teaching has had on me.

I have always sung, but started lessons with Sandra so I could do it more often and better.

Thanks to her advice and support, my voice and technique have improved significantly, to the point that I am now proud to include Classical music in my repertoire - something I'd previously have never thought possible.

Along side her one to one teaching Sandra also occasionally holds group Performance Classes. These are always warm, and nurturing experiences. It is fascinating to witness the change in first to second performance thanks to some deceptively simple advice from Sandra.

Above all though, she is a unique woman, and I feel blessed to have her in my life.
