A short visit in Somerset with my friends, had a nice evening in Saffron Indian restaurant in Street, Somerset. Wonderful Indian food specially the Garlic chilli chicken and nice friendly environment.

We have now been to the Saffron restaurant as a couple and a group many times it always provides lovely tasty food freshly cooked. Phoned up at 8pm on a Sunday to ask if Saffron would deliver to Westhay.Super friendly and YES.. they were happy to deliver if the order was over £20. The driver was awesome as he coud'nt find us but called.. and the delivery was really fast.The real test was the food... Brilliant Indian, both as a restaurant and take-away.I must say I recommend the take-away as if you ring up and order you get 20% off! The sit down side of this restaurant is also very lovely however for 2 people we spend upwards of £40, which I would consider too much so this is only kept for occasions (1 star knocked off due to these prices.)The food is some of the best Indian I've tasted- my personal favourite being the aubergine and chickpea curry!
