I am David Harrell the Director of Safety 1st Testing. We are well established company in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.

We supply a service carrying out Electrical installations, maintenance and repairs dealing with domestic, industrial and commercial properties.
We carry out all electrical jobs from complete re-wires, new CCU's Fusebox, Smart Innovation lighting system, Led lighting install internal & external, WAP & Wifi Points, CCTV and door entry systems, Smoke alarms, Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarm, Sonos installations, Data and Telephone communications.

We carry out electrical testing, inspection reports and certification for Home Owners or Landlords to meet current 18th IET Wiring Regulations.

We also supply a service carrying out Portable Appliance Testing to IEE Regulations.

All testing and inspection we carry out at Safety 1st Testing, complies with the 18th edition of the wiring regulations (BS7671:2018), which now applies from 2019.
We are NIC EIC Approved Contractors which allows us to fulfil all legal requirements regarding Commercial & Domestic Electrical Installations.

The benefit of using an NICEIC Approved Domestic Installer is that our work is backed by the NICEIC Part P Approved 6 Year Warranty Scheme, ensuring technical compliance with BS7671. This provides you with peace of mind that all of our electrical work is backed, approved and will be fully compliant.

Dust and mess is something that is unavoidable in our industry but we aim to keep our cleanliness standards as high as possible using dust sheets, and extraction equipment wherever possible.

About us.
My career started as a Trainee Electrician with a local company in Harrow gaining commercial, domestic and industrial experience.
Upon my completion of my exams and apprenticeship at college I continued growing as an Electrician, eventually starting my own company.
I am a hardworking, highly motivated and professional individual with excellent interpersonal skills. With over thirty years electrical experience within the domestic, commercial and industrial field. I have a proven track record as a qualified Electrician and Portable Appliance Tester.

We have managed a vast array of works over the years, from smaller domestic properties to larger scale building site works. Each project regardless of size is treated equally with the same amount of care and planning. We undertake work in a wide variety of properties, including Houses, Apartments, Flats, Schools, NHS Buildings and Commercial Properties.
I have also worked on the Cannes Film and MIP Music TV Festival's
