I have been having drum lessons with Andy for around a year, beginning as a complete novice. Andy has taught me many skills such as reading sheet music, independence techniques and also helped me learn songs that I wanted to play. He has always been flexible in terms of accommodating date changes and the odd cancellation due to work etc.

Andy is very patient and happy to go over anything I may have forgotten or need to practice. As a guitar player, Andy was also able to play along to songs I was learning which helped massively, as I wasn't just playing the drums in isolation.

I would 100% recommend Andy to any aspiring drummer that wants to learn how to play. Both online and in-person lessons were available which was a huge bonus during the pandemic.

Very accomplished and approachable tutor. Amazing from start to finish

Andy was my first professional teacher I have had for piano since I was maybe 8 and so I had completely open expectations.

Andy has been a fantastic teacher for me. He was patient, we could have casual chit chat and was flexible to what I wanted to do. He was able to show me a number of tips and tricks I could not figure out on my own.

He was also available via messages if I wanted to ask him anything and was very flexible with his schedule to fit me in. The fact he would come to me also saved me a lot of time during my day something I really appreciate.

Andy is a warm and thorough piano teacher. He has responded well to me being in my 50s and never played a musical instrument until now.
Andy taught music theory first but we always practised a tune of my choice to learn as we went along. Really enjoying the sessions.

Andy is a really great teacher, he has taught me loads of useful advice and practical tips that I would never have picked up from watching online video tutorials. I am 36 and have owned a Guitar for many years, but have always just messed around with it and never learned how to play properly.
