I love to get my pupils playing their favourite songs, keeping the lessons fun and interesting, all the while covering the more traditional classical music and theory that is to be expected in exams. I believe beginners lessons should all be about getting a feel of the piano and exploring sounds rather than jumping straight into reading music. I offer online lessons which can be just as motivating and inspiring as face to face lessons, providing there are multiple cameras to portray the hands on the piano/keyboard and the sound is clear you can still have that same optimal experience except in the comfort of your own home!
My methods are creative and fun, I also like to personalise my lesson planning to each pupil, we all have different strengths and weaknesses so having one structure for all is not as beneficial.
Above all i enjoy playing piano very much and to be able to teach and share that joy with others is wonderfully rewarding!
