Richard played at our end of year event. We have used him for our past productions pre covid and his service hasn’t changed. For us as primarily a dance school, music is paramount. Richard was engaged through the Bark website as the evenings DJ for a long awaited, high profile event. During the initial discussions, Richard spent time with me to understand the requirement so that he was able to present the best possible show. He did not disappoint. His musicality and production was spot on. He was able to adapt his show to accommodate last minute changes to the playlist. Richard came to play all day for our wedding last weekend. Hr really made our day special. We had ample contact in the lead up to the wedding, which really settled us that we’d get exactly what we wanted on the day. We spoke to quite a few DJ’s but Richard really stood out; he was personable, professional and his equipment is amazing! We both are used to clubbing in our younger days! What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Reading the crowd! Playing dynamically e.g creating both high energy and calmer energy throughout the set, engaging with the crowd, performing, sending out good vibes and energy, mixing songs - not just playing them back to back, loving what you do!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Eclectic and engaging. I’m a music producer by profession and love most genres of music. My DJ sets are usually smooth and polished, blending songs and genres (if required) together to create one musical journey, one moment where you can just let loose and feel the vibes.
What do you love most about your job?
Whether its a packed dancefloor, a rooftop bar in Ibiza, a wedding or a chilled out corporate event, the thing I love most is seeing the impact a song can have on someone. The nostalgia it summons up, the moment between friends it creates, the smile it brings, that one guy who refused to dance all night but HAS to get up for this one, that ‘Ooooooohhhh!!!’ moment! I LOVE that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ive had other successful careers but music is my passion. I believe that true success is measured by following your heart and doing what you love for a living.
Why should our clients choose you?
I’m very proud of what I do and, whilst DJing is fun - I take my job very seriously. I’m here to give YOU the experience YOU want. Thats my job, period. I take the time to understand my clients needs and create an experience that is unique to them. Im happy to work with any playlists/requests you have in mind and build a music set around that. Some clients simply just have a type of vibe or ambience in mind - I can work with that too. Other clients want me to just turn up and play! Whatever the need, it’s cool with me! I’m a professional DJ and you’ll benefit from industry recognised superior equipment e.g Pioneer DJ decks, a 4 thousand watt high end speaker system, high quality roaming microphones, professional lighting and of course, a bespoke and superior music set.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I bring sanitiser and masks with me to each event. My equipment is cleaned after each event. I maintain professionalism at all times.
