Rezon8 Disco DJ Carl Staples

Me and my wife Tracey got married on the 9th of June and we must say it was an absolute pleasure to have Carl as our DJ, he was nothing short of amazing and there wasn’t a moment when there wasn’t someone on the dance floor.

Carl will be our first choice at any future events.

He took the time before hand to sit and listen to what we did and didn’t want and to get to know us so he knew exactly what to provide on the day.

We booked Carl to DJ at our wedding reception recently. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Visited us at home beforehand to run through our preferred songs/playlists/first dance songs. On the day....he was brilliant....was happy to take requests....played all the songs on our playlist....and chose others that fitted in with the artists/genres he knew we liked. My husband and I got married at the start of May, and had Carl for our reception DJ. Carl was amazing from the start, even before the wedding Carl would make the time to come and see us and find out exactly what we were after. It was easy to communicate with him throughout. On the day, Carl set up so discretely, I didn’t even release he had turned up at that point! We had the most amazing reception, and I put it all down to the music. Carl knew exactly what to play to keep everyone on their feet, and the reception actually carried on for longer than it should have, but Carl was more than happy to stay and play for as long as we needed him. I first hired Carl a few years back for my 30th birthday. He did a great job then so I hired Rezon8 again for my wedding last month. Carl did an amazing job from start to finish. He took time out to meet with us 4 weeks before the big day to discuss playlists, likes and dislikes. He was also happy to work with us and be flexible around times and where to set up at the venue despite a last minute change of plans the day before. All round top job and a great attitude, everything your looking for when you have 101 other things to be planning!

As for the night, he played a great set throughout and managed to keep the dance floor full all night. He read the crowd perfectly and many of the guests told me how much they enjoyed the music.

Amazing evening on the 28th October,
Only just getting round to posting to people that made it so special!!

The disco at the end of our event topped it all off! !

Highly recommended!!

The music was fantastic, suited our audience, that ranged from 12 year olds to 80 year olds!
The set up during our formal part of the evening went so soomthly and quietly!! Which is amazing!

Last night I hosted a party for my partner, and needed a DJ that could fulfil many needs and requests. Carl was nothing but helpful, polite and did the most wonderful job. We were looking for a DJ with strong mixing skills for our wedding rather than someone that would simply fade between songs. Carl's demo convinced us that he was the man for the job.

Naturally, there was some initial nervousness, having not heard Carl play in person before we chose to hire him, however we were reassured the moment the dancing started. We had an idea of how we wanted the evening to go, which Carl was happy to accommodate, starting with crowd pleasers and moving onto commercial dance tunes.

Carl then read the crowd to finish the evening with a bang, striking the right note with the our guests.

Carl's excellent mixing skills meant that the dance floor was never empty in the four hours he was playing and we would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Carl also helpfully put us in touch with the Micheal and his team at EW Production Services, who also did a super job on the production aspects. More...

Carl DJ'd for our wedding reception at Crockstead Farm Hotel this month and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Carl took the time to find out what kind of music we wanted/didn't want for the evening. A brilliant variety of music was played & so many of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the music.
