We have had a good experience so far with the installation of an installation of a solar battery to our existing solar panels. This Company were not the cheapest I could have used, and I have no experience on the battery/inverter that was installed,but from my initial inquiry to completion this company were very efficient, everything was explained to me, the installation was carried out very speedily, without any mess or disruption, both installers were very pleasant and explained everything they were doing. Preinstallation, and installation all went great. No issues really, and everything that went wrong was addressed rather swiftly. It really gave us a good vibe about this company. First issues were when someone came to show us how the app works. They quickly asked us how the installation had gone and proceeded to register this on trustpilot as if we had done it - dishonest. Needless to say that I deleted this as soon as I found out. We had quite a few promises when we were deciding on what company to use. One of this was that our current electricity company will be provided with the required paperwork and notification that the panels had been installed, so that any excess energy we harvest can be duly paid to us by our electricity provider. This is month 3, no handover, and so, if we are supplying to the grid, there is no record of this. We have contacted our electricity company who have been very good at listing what we require. We have contacted everyone from Renewalfuel who has been involved with our installation to ask for the MCS certificate and a DNO letter (don't ask me what they mean, but Renewalfuel should know). We have had a few promises, but this is week 3, and so far we have only had the mcs certificate. Messages have been left by both my husband and I but we have been promised and very little actions. We are still awaiting the DNO letter. Sadly, I have noticed that Renewalfuel seem to address its customer's issues when they bring them to trustpilot, and so here I am. Could someone do the right thing and send these documents via email and by post to our home address as promised some 3weeks ago? Am dreading what the next few years will be if I need something from Renewalfuel and just pray that all goes well and I don't need to go back to them, as the above experience has sure left a bitter taste in my mouth. The company installed two 5.12 batteries for me and they`re working very well. The installers arrived on a Friday and completed the job apart from only installing one battery, not two. Valuable interactions when investigating installing the PV system. Knowledgeable installer and were very good. The installation took 1 day and was up and running by the end of the day. Purchased a significant amount of equipment with this company- an air source, solar panels and EV car charger. Once they receive your money they don’t respond to emails regarding faulty equipment or fix it! Have even CC’ed the director Kelly in and over 2 weeks later still no response. Get your renewable equipment elsewhere!! EDIT- They’ve fobbed us off to the manufacture as they don’t know the answers and once they’ve got your money they don’t care. The system is very clearly and factually under preforming, I wouldn’t classify a 7kw system operating on average 3.7kw in July over performing. Seems to be a common response for Renewafuel to make things up in their response on trust pilot and to ignore emails of previous customers. Frauds. More...

I was very impressed by this firm and its staff. The presentation of their product was first class and very informative, but without pressure for a sale . The installation was arranged and confirmed expeditiously and took around two hours.. The installer knew the details of the system and described how it worked including the monitoring by the system app. Within a few days of the new system operating, I could already see that, even on cloudy days, that the power drawn from the grid had been reduced significantly. |This bodes well for the future. Very responsive initially Kelly was super quick, awaiting follow ups but am sure it's it's a matter of holiday season. The first calls very informative, lots of options clearly explained by Tristan. Seem a very committed organisation. Hoping to get follow through. UPDATE: 21 Aug. Despite emails and calling many times have totally vanished. First impressions were amazing, nothing followed up which is a shame given the impact possible. I assume not interested, how disappointing. UPDATE 22nd. The comments are not factual, what 'file'??I simply got no response. I called 9 times (Kelly and Tristan) emailed several times, was ignored by Tristan a few WhatsApp messages so you simply dropped the ball. A simply apology would be better than spinning this to look like a 'strategic decision' that you only put on Trustpilot when you could have replied a month ago. My goal remains battery power to supplement solar and cheap tarrifs. Servicing is incidental to this and I got thie done already when you disappeared so what about the battery proposal ? They have co-ordinated from the start with making the first call to them till the very end and never once where we pushed into purchasing the Solar Photovoltaic system. All ok with the sales and the installation on my air source heat pump. In fact they were very good at everything except on there after sales service. Perhaps I live too far from their normal coverage area, but they accepted the job and took my money. The problem I had was it took them over 12 months to set up my room thermostat with numerous calls and now I have a small leak in my airing cupboard that was reported back in the Spring, and again I am still (after numerous calls and photos) still waiting for an engineer to fix the problem. Its not all about the cost, installation, sales etc the whole experience should incorporate the after sales and service side too. In my opinion this is very sadly lacking in Renewafuel. More...
