Hi and welcome to Relax and Uplift where touch is the language of the soul. My aim with massage is to make each client feel relaxed and at ease, to enjoy being on the receiving end of touch and to leave feeling like a million dollars! I use a variety of different massage techniques in order to loosen and warm the muscles and different pressures to target problem area located in the deeper layers of the muscle tissue.

Thursday 16th November 2023 I visited this really unusually quaint store in Leeds This store is opposite the leeds city varieties Theatre and the front of the white swan public house. It is situated in a really cosy area and rightfully has a big hardcore following of people using it Upstairs is a book shop and cafeteria downstairs. It is a beautiful shop selling all sorts of unusual items like crystals tribal arts, and other such collectables that make this place such a sort after place by people. The staff are friendly and there is a quiet, easy-going seated area for people to eat and drink items bought on the prenises cafe which as earlier stated is upstairs. This weekend I had an amazing private massage with Danielle in her home. She had set up her space to be super relaxing with nommy essential oils (I love lemongrasss). I had a 90 minutes massage, which was a steal, and felt like a new woman afterwards. Danielle talked to me before the massage about my niggles and pains to target certain areas, and she certainly did that! I has plenty of time to unwind and land back to Earth at the end of the massage. I even went away with some body butter to freshen up my skin, post winter dryness. Today I had the pleasure of meeting Danielle and having a full body massage. I've had a stressful few years going through a divorce and cancer scare and spoke to Danielle about needing stress and tension relief. The shop itself is nice inside and some amazing options to buy for spiritual items but I won't be attending the bookshop/cafe section anymore. It is very cliquey which can get uncomfortable. I mean we got a nice welcome but once we sat down to have drink it sort of changed then I told my partner to be careful before she took a sip of her drink as it was hot and we got a dirty look from two people inside like we were insulting them. What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that I am able to give a special experience to people that they will always remember. Massage is beneficial to both the giver and the receiver and it's wonderful to find a job that I enjoy so much but which also helps other in such a profound manner.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to work for myself and as a full time teacher it's been a journey to get to this point. I am inspired by the feedback that I get from clients and from the amazing relationships that I have built up in such a short amount of time.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am both personable and professional. For me the client is at the centre of what I do. By creating a safe based on trust and respect, I am able to deliver an outstanding service which touches people and heals them holistically.

Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage can be either relaxing or uplifting, depending on the massage strokes and pressure applied. During the consultation the clients needs are discussed so that each session is specifically tailored for the individual.
Aromatherapy Massage
Using Swedish techniques, coupled with essential oils, this massage enhances the benefits by using oils that are chosen to target specific concerns. Massage is an excellent medium to ensure that the oils are absorbed into the body, allowing you to feel the benefits during and after the massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue is a dynamic and relaxing massage which targets pain the deeper layers of the muscle tissue, relieving pain and tension held there. Using trigger point therapy specific areas of trapped pain are honed in on, allowing the pain to be released and melt away.
Warm Bamboo Massage
Using gently heated bamboo sticks of different sizes, muscles are warmed up, allowing for greater depth of pressure to specific areas. This massage is able to lengthen and work the muscles using a variety different strokes, relieving tension and allowing the body to feel renewed and refreshed.
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on ancient Chinese and Indian medicine, using meridian lines in the feet to aid healing and promote health holistically. By understanding and mapping the foot as a microcosm of the whole body, certain areas are pressed and massaged to help clear the energy and revitalise the various organs and areas of the body. Deeply relaxing and yet engages the client, to sense and discuss how the different areas are responding to the treatment, which is logged and then revisited during the following sessions.
