Like the other lady, we were conned for 1500. Pls do avoid at all cost. James Niven or James Mcdogh asked for 1500 by bank transfer to get the trees , plants and other materials for our job and never returned to finish the job off.
The tidy up they did was done well so that was the bait we think.
Once we paid him, He turned the phone off and went off whatsapp and deleted the business account. Facebook page deleted and the photos on this page are taken from other paving company websites.
No show with no explanation and have been avoiding my calls. We are devastated. It is our hard earned money.
We reported this to bark and they have advised that they will be reporting this page. Unfortunately Bark don't do any vetting before allowing vendors on the site.

Agreed price for new fence with concrete posts at 1,8M high. Confirmed all materials are in stock and ready to commence works next day.
Next morning 8 men came to my place and smashed the existing fence in no time after which I was told that they don’t have concrete post and it will have to be wood or wait until Monday. Did ask to go ahead with wooden post as just wanted it done (previously advised £200 - £300 lower price if wooden post used)
The fence was finished 200mm lower than requested (assume used panels for concrete base and posts?) and offered a discount of £50 not £200 or more. Well....

James & his team were excellent value & finished the job within 4 hours. It included cutting & trimming two large trees, removing two dead trees & replanting 4 other large plants. They also removed all weeds & took away all waste. Hiring them again to lay sleepers around the border of the garden so will leave a separate review for that when that job is finished. More...
