My boy loves his lessons and I'm looking forward to learning even more! We’ve been coming to red dog for nearly a year now and we absolutely love it. We did two puppy courses, a one to one home session with them and now do the agility classes. Our miniature dachshund really enjoys every class and he appears to be very fond of all the staff, and so he should, they’re fantastic. They are very accommodating with all breeds and sizes. They are caring and very knowledgable. The positive training techniques they use have been very effective with our puppy and he’s a confident and obedient little chap because of it. We just wanted to say a big thank you for the last year as a "Grumpy Group" member.
Grumpy classes: the best thing we ever did for our reactive dog.
Naturally we were a bit sceptical to start with, but truly amazed at how well these classes work. It's a controlled environment, which gives the owners confidence that no situations will arise, and the dogs are allowed to progress at their individual paces - always working within their limits.
There's a lot of one-on-one work, and lots of support from the trainers both in and out of classes. The trainers are excellent: patient and supportive, and they monitor all the dogs closely to ensure they don't become upset or stressed when learning.
A year on we have a happier, more confident dog who is able to participate in regular training classes and even has a few doggy friends. We are all so much more relaxed and happy. We'll always have a "reactive" dog, but now we have the skills and the confidence to keep him safe and happy, and he can relax knowing we're always there to control any situation. It's definitely not a "quick fix", but it has been a blessing!
