Yesterday was my first visit. Myself and two friends went. The soup and sandwiches were delicious and we had absolutely no complaints. It is a tad expensive but worth it in the taste. Will definitely be going again. More...

Today was very hot, to hot for moonpie the Pomeranian. Luckily the nice people at Claremont have made an indoor dog friendly area, with water and dog biscuits. So if it’s too hot or wet or cold and you want somewhere nice to go with your dog. Head over to Claremont farm they do nice things for humans to. More...

I went here today for my birthday breakfast and it was AMAZING the food was absolutely gorgeous! To be fair it was probably one of the nicest full English breakfasts I even had to “reluctantly” share it with my 2 year old who polished his jam toast off in about 2mins flat we will be back!!!!! Dearest Claremont, I really like the food and atmosphere of the farm shop. Every time I go I have a scrummy breakfast or a delectable cake or do Yoga with Bendy Wendy. We are very local and most of Spital use the cafe as a meeting and eating place. Thank you for the caring service. Much appreciated More...

What a lovely place! Myself and four friends arrived yesterday for afternoon tea, there was some confusion with our booking resulting in us not being able to have the official afternoon tea BUT we would never have known! We were offered as close to afternoon tea as possible and we were an awkward bunch, vegetarians, a vegan and a gluten free! Staff were all so lovely and attentive, we were spoilt and we were very much compensated for the booking error. We’ve even been invited back for official afternoon tea free of charge as an apology. The food was all so delicious and we all are very very excited to come back! Would highly recommend to anyone! I’ll definitely be a regular visitor when visiting the Wirral x x More...

Afternoon tea for two -

We enjoyed the most wonderful afternoon tea today at Claremont Farm. As a vegan it can be hard to find places which offer an array of options whereas the choice today was outstanding. From the ‘burger’ to the scone, everything was delicious and so well thought out - no compromise on taste whatsoever. I had high hopes after doing the vegan cookery course at the farm a few months back but today surpassed my expectations. It was some of the best vegan food I’ve had since becoming vegan!
My husband had the normal selection on offer which he was equally as pleased with. The staff were accommodating and welcoming and the new upstairs area offered beautiful views across the farm. I can’t recommend Claremont enough - well done team!

I visited here for a classic car show. The show is held annually in the event field. The farm shop does have a restaurant, but in order to cope with the amount of people attending the event, additional catering facilities are provided in the event field. The food sold in the catering tent is the same very high quality, locally produced stuff as that sold in the farm shop. The prices are good for the very high quality of stuff they sell.
If you're looking to buy Asparagus, these guys should be your first port of call.

The bad news is, they sell eggs produced by caged birds. They will argue that the farm that produces these eggs adheres to higher welfare standards. This is not good enough. Hens should not be in cages and I am surprised and disappointed that Claremont Farm is supporting this practice. More...

Always enjoy going here. Have just learned that we are now able to reserve a table. This will be useful as we sometimes have someone with us who is in a wheelchair. This prompts me to ask the management, "can you please provide some reserved disabled parking spaces to allow sufficient space to offload into a wheelchair." More...

Visited for coffee and a chat with a friend. Never realised it would be so busy! Never a quiet moment here, but the atmosphere is great.
Good variety of breakfast options and lunch options. We stayed here for 4 hours catching up, and never felt rushed or pressured to leave despite how busy it was!
We stayed for lunch and had some seasonal salads - so tasty! Wish I'd have tried something more substantial!
Stay away from the cakes - there is a good chance you'll want to eat them all!!

I had the mushroom pate which came with fresh bread and it was incredible. My nephew had the soup of the day which he enjoyed very much. Again, this came with freshly made bread.

I can't fault this trip one bit, the prices weren't bad considering it's all freshly produced, I love the painted map on the wall which shows which ingredient came from where and the best part was the map was of the north west meaning local produce!
