What do you love most about your job?
The best part about the job are the break downs.
Looking and working out what's wrong and once I find the problem and fix it. Hearing the boiler fire back up is great
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've worked for companies for 19 years since leaving school, some good some bad but they all eventually start treating you as a number.
I also want to be able to employ my son and have him work along side me when he finishes school.
Why should our clients choose you?
I rather work to quality rather then quantity, a job finished well is a boiler that will last.
Break downs on boilers are my main thing I have alot of knowledge regarding different brands and models of boiler.

No sorry, only a Gas safe Registered engineer is allowed to remove the case off the front of the boiler
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Sorry I wasn't a business before COVID.
But personally work wise trying to stay cleaner and washing hand more often.
Landlords Gas safety Inspections
Landlord Gas Safety inspections, also known as CP12 are required if you are currently renting a property. Without a Gas Safety inspection carried out each year, your property that you rent out will be illegal, Voiding any insurance that you have and holding you liable.
Its not worth the risk not getting done.
If you are just a home owner living in the property that you own then this normally isn't required and may not be for you.

Boiler Service
Boiler service's are required if you have just had a boiler installed, like a car boilers also have a service log book.
These need to be updated every year in order to maintain your boilers warranty other wise it will be voided.
Also having a boiler service every year reduces the probability of anything going wrong with the boiler and potentially being very harmful.
A well maintained boiler is a happy boiler.
It is a lot more cost effective, unlike having a boiler that never gets serviced and then goes wrong due to not having a service every year and becoming faulty due to a part that could have been maintained each year.

Power flushing
Power Flushing- take care of your heating
This service is normally for systems that have a bad sludge/flow problem.
With poor flow around your heating system/restriction within the pipe work due to sludge it can cause radiators not to warm up as hot as they should.
In some cases they won't heat up at all, the boiler just over heats meaning your wasting energy on heating water that isn't able to circulate around your system.
The way to fix this is via a power flush, this will remove all sludg

Reavey Heating takes gas safety seriously. All of our engineers are Gas Safe Registered and will have their official identity card when you ask to see it.
Gas Safe Register is the official gas safety organisation in Great Britain.
Gas Safe Register is responsible for the registration and regulation of gas engineers. Membership is mandatory for any company or engineer working with gas appliances.
