Sometimes we have times in our lives which we find difficult. We feel we have lost our way, we might feel devastated by life's events, or particularly low and not know why. There are many reasons why we might feel disconnected and need to access some extra support, external to family, friends and colleagues. Re-Connect Counselling Services offers this support, it provides time and space to explore what is going on for you, at times in your life when you might need or want it most.
I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor who is a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I have experience working with bereavement, abuse, lose, sexual identity and relationship break down.
As a counsellor my aim is to provide time and safe space in which you will feel listened to and heard, in exploring your thoughts, feelings and powerful emotions. I provide a process whereby you have an opportunity to work through thoughts and difficulties you might be experiencing, with a view to re-connecting, moving towards understanding and acceptance.
The work we will do together will be at your own pace and in a way that works for you. I will listen, support, suggest and guide our way of working whilst staying committed to helping you find your own way at a time when you might be feeling disconnected, lost and unsure. I offer a safe and confidential space that will support and challenge you in re-connecting with yourself and others.
Offering 2 locations.
1 being accessible by public transport in central Harrogate.
The other giving clients the opportunity of a rural location to offer walk and talk therapy, experiencing acceptance and re-connecting with the world around use and our role within it.
