Massage Therapy

I booked in for a back, neck and shoulder massage due to the fact my back and shoulders was causing me pain(I’m 25 going on 65). Rachael was super friendly and gave a great massage, really working on my areas of concern. After my massage I felt that a lot of tension had been released and the pain I had been experiencing was greatly improved enabling me to have more movement around my shoulders and neck. I’d highly recommend Rachael and never doubt the power or the importance of a good Massage. More...

Services

Swedish massage is great for relaxation, rejuvenation and reduction of muscular tension. In our modern world, where we run around at 100mph, taking time to look after ourselves isn't just a luxury, it's a necessity. Here are some of the benefits of body massage:

*Increase in flow of lymph which enhances the body’s
immunity
*Relief from muscular pain
*Increase in flexibility of joints
*Helps to reduce scar tissue and stretch marks
*Increase in circulation which helps to rid the body of toxins such as lactic acid
*Stimulation of the body by releasing endorphins

Sports massage is generally a deeper form of massage and involves the manipulation of muscles to the benefit of someone involved in regular physical activity.

Here are some of the benefits of sports therapy:

*Increase in range of motion and flexibility
*Decrease in muscle stiffness and tightness
*Decrease in recovery time following physical activity
*Improvement in blood circulation
*Psychological benefits - can help to invigorate the
body and mind
*Helps to remove toxins and waste products from muscles

Pregnancy can be a tough time for expectant mothers. With all the hormones firing around your body, the physical strain of carrying a baby coupled with the mental stresses, it is fair to say that becoming a new mum isn't easy. Then there's the issue of finding out that so many of the things you love are out of bounds! Luckily, one thing you are allowed to do during your pregnancy is go for a massage - you can even do it in the first stages of labour!

So what are the benefits of a pregnancy massage?

*Improvement in quality of sleep
*Alleviation of muscle pain and cramps
*Reduced swelling in joints
*Reduces baby's stress hormones
*Lowers nerve pain levels
*Relieves tired, achy muscles

All massages are offered with the option of using CBD oil.

Adding CBD oil (topically) to your massage is a great way to absorb CBD into the body fast. This is because CBD oil can be massaged directly into the most affected areas. Together with massage therapy, CBD increases blood flow in specific areas where there is pain, inflammation, and sore muscles leading to lower levels of discomfort and quicker recovery time.

So, the next time you book in with for a treatment why not add CBD oil? Combining the physical and psychological benefits of massage with the medical benefits of CBD makes for a relaxing, invigorating, and incredibly therapeutic experience.
