Rosie was the first wedding photographer that we talked to...and the last We tried to keep to our plan of taking to a few people, but the day after talking to Rosie, we just knew that she was the right photographer for us - and we didn’t want to risk her being booked by someone else on our big day! This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, as Rosie was just SENSATIONAL! She made everyone so at ease, it was just like hanging out with a friend who happened to also be an amazing photographer. Rosie was absolutely amazing on our wedding day! She was recommended to us and described as a ‘ninja photographer’ I have to say, a spot on description - Rosie will go to any length to get that perfect photo! From start to finish, Rosie was just incredible. She took the time to take some of the most beautiful photographs we have ever seen. All of them were so natural and to be honest she captured moments that I can’t even remember happening, which is lovely. She made everybody feel so at ease and she just blended in to all of our family & friends. I met Rosie pretty much 2 years ago to the day at a wedding fair (which was mental!). All the photographers I met on the day were pushy and over posed until I came across the Ragdoll stand. The stand looked awesome to start with and instantly the photos stood out as more relaxed- just what we were looking for. Rosie handed me the coolest business card I've ever seen (which included an emergency teabag!) It was there and then that I realised I'd have no-one else photograph our wedding. We chatted about cake and how horrendous wedding fairs were and after I took my gorgeous girl to Berlin and proposed, she was the first person I got in contact with to make sure she was available. From there on in it was like working with a life long friend. She met us For a drink and a puppy cuddle to chat over details and was nothing short of incredible on the day. Numerous pals asked us "How long have you been friends with Rosie?" which says it all about her warm and friendly manner with all all of our friends and family. She also narrowly missing a kidnapping from Amy's Grandma due to her just being so damn nice! Rosie was the photographer when some of our friends were married two years ago and we loved her style of photography, so we didn't hesitate to book her when our time came! My wife and I both have a dislike for posing for photography and having attention on us, and Rosie was extremely sympathetic to this. Other than the traditional shots of the bride and groom with family, every photograph taken was completely natural, and when it was time for my wife and I to have our own photos taken, Rosie just asked us to go for a walk and forget she was there. We both felt completely comfortable with this and the pictures that have come from it are absolutely beautiful. Some of the best photos that we have of our family members were taken by Rosie whilst they weren't looking and we've had nothing but praise from our friends and family about the photographs and Rosie herself - the dogs even posed for her, which is something we've never managed! I hate formal stuff. I hate having to look a certain way. Or act a certain way. I hate posing seriously for photos and having everyone stare at me. I can get totally neurotic about that kind of stuff, so a wedding was the obvious choice of things I'd love to do! But Rosie was awesome - her style of photography was totally unobtrusive and natural, and she is so calm and professional. She had photographed a friend's wedding a few years before so I knew she was awesome already, so it was a no-brainer to message her about my wedding. Her communication was amazing, and she put us totally at ease. She answered any questions we had and this continued all the way through to the actual wedding day. She documented the day beautifully, capturing the moments that would be missed by having 'posed photography'. Of course, we had a little list of posed snaps we wanted for parents and family, but Rosie totally got it when I'd had enough of doing this. The rest were just Rosie doing her thing and capturing moments that were beautiful and a true reflection of us as a couple. It was SO hot on our wedding day, but Rosie didn't complain once about working in the heat. Our photos were lovely (and came with the best packaging!) and it was the photos that we didn't know were happening that were our absolute favourites. Alex and I met Rosie last year at my sisters wedding and knew she was the photographer we wanted for our special day. Having previously dealt with my family, it was lovely to have a familiar face at the wedding and everyone was so relaxed around her. As mentioned by others, Rosie does lovely natural photos which is perfect if posing isn’t for you. Not only has she given us hundreds of lovely photos that captured our day she has given us photos with a story behind them, which Alex and I still chuckle about. I approached Rosie to come along to take photos of my sons recent years 6 leavers event, which was taking place on an inflatable assault course on the school field. Rosie was careful to ensure that she knew exactly what we were after from our photos and took some absolutely amazing shots, the kids loved her easy going and fun approach and myself and the other parents are thrilled with the photos she took! Rosie was the most perfect photographer we could've imagined for our wedding. From the moment we first met her at a wedding fayre we knew she would make our day special, and that she shared all the values we wanted to capture as our wedding memories. In the build up to the day Rosie kept in touch, making sure that she knew everything we had planned; and the surprises that our families were hiding from us so she could be in the perfect places at the right time. Where do I Start?! We booked Rosie 2 years in advance for our wedding. After looking at other photographers, Rosie’s display stood out a mile away. She let us discuss her pictures between ourselves in our own time before we approached her... (I loved this). Her pictures talk for themselves!! We kept in touch throughout the two years leading up to our day, and she was always there to answer a question, she’s been amazing. Within 3 weeks of our wedding we received our pictures and they are absolutely stunning! There’s so many that have been taken without us realising, and captured so much happiness from our day! I met rosie when my friend booked her for her wedding day and what can i say other than what a fab day we had. Rosie captures them. . I do not have enough words to say how awesome Rosie is. We got on from the first email, and by the time the wedding rolled around if she hadn't been taking the photos I would have been inviting her as a guest. When I had forgotten to ask any questions about photography but we had a plan in case of zombie apocalypse by the second email I knew this was going to be great.
Everyone at the wedding loved her - I had multiple friends tell me how wonderful she was during the day. I'm not a huge fan of having my photo taken but she really made it easy and I never felt awkward at all. I'm so pleased she was there and she captured the day and our sillyness in such a lovely way. Not normally one for gushing reviews but for Rosie I’ll definitely make an exception!

Rosie was amazing, within minutes of arriving at the venue on our big day we were relaxed, it was like having an old friend there with us.

She has a fantastic superhuman energy & fun enthusiasm that she manages to maintain throughout the day. She also has a wonderful natural easy going way with people & especially with the kids, so much so that most of our family now want to adopt her.

Rosie went above & beyond, she even made sure our dog had a drink of water & went along with slightly bizarre special requests from our mad friends. (7foot Troll at a wedding I ask you!)

Ultimately our magical little ninja photographer gave us everything we asked for and more, we now have some truly amazing, perfect & natural photos of our special day.

What can we say about Ragdoll Photography...Rosie is the most talented photographer ever!! In the lead up to the wedding I feel as if Rosie became more of a friend than someone who would photograph our wedding! She listened intently to what we wanted (very little posed pictures and a bride who hates having her photograph taken)!! We met a few times and kept in contact the whole time! On the day, we felt like Rosie connected so well with all of our guests! All of them commeneted on how fabulous our wedding photographer was so relaxed and friendly! Rosie is terrific. We met her face to face a few months before our wedding to discuss with her what we wanted and she was really easy to talk to and took on board exactly what we were after. We immediately felt a rapport with her. This really is 2 reviews for 1 because after seeing what a marvellous job Rosie did at my daughter's wedding last year; it was a no brainer to ask her to do our wedding. Rosie is sneaky and you never know where she will pop up next and she loves to use mirrors. Her relaxed style of photos include so much laughter and I didn't really mind the walk up the lane and into a field of OSR for the wonderful shots of just the two of us.
