teacher. I have an enhanced DBS certificate and 8 years experience of one to one tuition. My specialist area is Key Stage one reading and writing. I usually offer tuition from my home in Milton Keynes but currently teaching online via Zoom.

Reading and writing tuition Key Stage One
Tailored lessons for young children to enable them to learn to read and write or catch up with these skills. Through various techniques teaching children to use phonics, meaning and structure to enable them to read and write fluently and with confidence.
English as a second language
Phonics and language skills in basic English for children age 4 and up for whom English is not their first language. Individual or small group.
Guided reading and speaking with confidence for children age 5-8
Small group sessions reading and comprehension plus preparation and delivery of a short presentation to the class each week.
Guided writing for children age 5-8
Working on a series of writing projects from stories to various non fiction themes- instructions, letters, descriptions, reports.
