Many people seek out Solution Focused Therapies because they do not want to dig up the past again. They just want to focus on being well, thriving and looking forward to a compelling future and being the best version of themselves. That's why the goal is not to go into excruciating detail about traumatic experiences, but instead focus on the life you WANT to be living, and the person you really are at your best despite what has happened in the past.
