What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I alway have my camera on me... ALWAYS. I am not a big fan of planning the perfect photograph, there is a time a place for that, but I find that shooting something you see there and then, whether that is a look given to a loved one, or a someone just walking into the right light. I find this gives you the best results!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I like to get to know them a bit first, maybe just a chat over the phone or a coffee. I don't have any set questions as such, as it all depends on what the shoot is for. But getting to know the client and their vision first always seems to help.
What do you love most about your job?
The look when I show someone a photograph and my picture captures a special moment. We tend to say all the time "It never looks as good in a pic". I try to change that.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was in the public service for a long time, I had my baby girl and wanted to spend more time with her.
Why should our clients choose you?
I give 100% to each shoot. Nothing less! I want you to walk away with photographs you can't wait to show people and that capture memories.
