It was BH Monday, traffic horrendous in places, an accident on motorway so alternative route was taken. The driver was efficient and informative. (Sorry can't remember his name, but it was the journey to Pickering) Well done !

My wife and I have recently been on the Burns Night Excursion. The Tyrers coach was of a high standard clean and comfortable with plenty of leg room. On the journey to Scotland and for the return home regular comfort stops were provided. The Tyrers driver Graeme combined professional driving skills with a highly personable approach, ensuring everybody was made welcome, kept informed about the itinerary and happy with all aspects of the excursion. On arrival at the hotel he arranged for our luggage to be taken to the room and on departure put back on the coach. Tyrers arranged our stay at the delightful Winnock Hotel Drymen Loch Lomond. On arrival we were greeted by the manger, the hotel room was to a high standard with en-suite bathroom, the food was excellent (with a choice of 3 starters, 3 main and 3 sweet for dinner). On departure we were given a complimentary hot toddy and throughout our stay the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. The 3 night break included Dinner Bed, Breakfast, (Packed lunch Sat & Sun), Entertainment and Free Drinks (on selected brands) from 7.30 to 10.30 each evening. The Burns night celebration itself had the traditional piping in of the haggis with highland dancing and was great fun.On the Sat when arriving at Glasgow Tyrers provided a nice touch with tots of whiskey and chocolates given out by the driver.We thoroughly enjoyed the the Burns Night Excursion provided by Tyrers which was a very good value and would highly recommend.
