I have used Charlie for 3 years, looking after my dogs, cats, chickens and house, when I have been away from home. During this time, he has been completely organised, responsible, detailed and absolutely reliable. My previous dog had numerous ailments and my current dog, Olive, has had a tricky medical condition requiring lots of examples of actions in potentially different scenarios. Charlie has handled these medical problems with ease in my absence, keeping me up to date, following a set of instructions and taking ultimate care of them. It is obvious Charlie loves all animals and I have no doubts in leaving them in Charlie’s care as he always follows advice and does what is ultimately in their best interest, be that, take them to the vet if necessary or continue some behavioural training. Charlie’s education in his animal management degree also gives me great confidence that he can think on his feet and deal with unexpected situations in the best interest of my animals. Charlie is very organised and can absolutely be relied upon after booking. He has shown himself to be dependable and trust worthy when animal sitting, offering suggestions or alternatives if he is already booked. Charlie has also cared for my cats and chickens over this time, forging quite a friendship with Humphrey and Angus my cats! He is also at ease with more unusual aspects of domestic animal husbandry in my chickens and is diligent at shutting them up at night and noticing and reporting any issues with the flock. Basically, I can’t praise Charlie enough in looking after my animals! He makes a busy period of preparing and leaving your home, for whatever reason, so much easier to cope with because of his organisation and dependability and genuine love of animals. We have used Charlie for our holidays as a dog sitter for quite a while now. It’s clear how much they enjoy him looking after them as they make such a fuss of him when he arrives.
