A healthy diet is key to feeling better, to manage your weight, to have more energy and to reduce the risk of illnesses. It is important though to find a way to nurture yourself in a way that fits with your lifestyle, it needs to be manageable and sustainable for you.

I have always been very interested in food and drink and started my career in the hotel industry. Fast forward 30 years and I felt I wanted to do something with that interest and I decided to qualify as a Nutrition Advisor. I believe strongly that a healthy diet will make you feel healthier and happier and when I work with clients, I can see this transformation. It is very rewarding and fulfilling.

During my studies I worked with a local lady as part of my assignment. I had found her through a local WhatsApp group and I worked with her for 8 weeks. The feedback I received was so positive as she felt the advice was very specific to her and this motivated her to make changes. This client encouraged me to work with clients directly and I felt that this was a great way to share my passion with clients who need inspiration and direction.

My services are client specific and the advice they receive is well researched and applicable to them. I follow sessions up with an email with the information we have discussed and I do quite a bit of work to then prepare for the next session.

I prefer to work face-to-face. It is important in this line of work to build rapport. However if this is not possible for the client, I can run sessions on zoom.
For certain subjects, such as Healthy Nutrition for Menopause or Plant based diets, I also run group sessions on zoom. The minimum number of attendees will be 6 so if you have a group of friends who are interested, then please contact me.

When a client visits, I make sure the room is well ventilated. I am vaccinated and had a booster so I pose low risk.

Services

In my role as Nutrition Advisor, I work with clients initially to understand their goals, their concerns and obstacles with regards to having a healthy diet. In the first session we will explore this and this then leads to further session where we discuss how we can improve your diet to fit with your lifestyle; your exercise, your habits, your work, your social life and so on.
I don't just focus on food, but also on the drinks you consume, the barriers you encounter and quick fixes that will make it more likely for you to succeed.
I will provide you with lots of useful information that is easy to understand and implement. My approach is to achieve a long term healthier outcome for you.
