Absolutely brilliant, with the patience of a saint! My joints dislocate very easily and I struggle with certain activities. Alix took the time to research my condition to provide the best possible support. She took the time to explain things – and when something didn’t work, she found a new method to try, and at the same time managed to boost my confidence and made me feel like I could do anything – which when something as simple as walking and running can be a struggle is a big thing. First and foremost, I believe your fitness journey should be fun as well as educational, giving you the tools to maintain your health and fitness long after you have achieved your goals, therefore no two training sessions will be the same and fun is always guaranteed.

Secondly, understanding the challenges and obstacles faced by my clients in their daily life is key if I am to be able to fully help and support them in their fitness journey therefore having an honest conversation upfront with any client is very important. I believe setting expectations as to what a client can expect from myself and what I expect from them is vital.

Thirdly, once committed they will follow my proven program to guide them through their fitness journey and help them achieve their goals which covers everything they will need from Exercise to Nutrition and Recovery. They will also have my constant support outside of their training sessions with me whilst they follow the program so I am always on hand to answer any questions and offer support and motivation whenever it is needed.

A client is never on their own, I guarantee to be with them 100% every step of the way to encourage, support, cajole and hold accountable when needed.

Whatever your health and fitness goals, patience along with consistency over time in your training and eating healthily is key. Your fitness journey is a marathon, not sprint, there will be pit stops along the way but if you work hard and remain consistent (with the odd treat of course), you will be rewarded.

For me, the best part of being a personal trainer is being able to make a difference to someone' s life by playing an integral part in helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. Whether their goal is to lose weight, maybe train towards a race or other sporting event or as simple as becoming more confident in doing simple fitness exercises, everyone's goals are different but matter to that individual and seeing that person totally smash their goals is the biggest reward for me.

I began offering my personal training services outside of the gym to help those seeking a personal trainer outside of the traditional gym environment. Whether it is simply because they prefer not to train in a gym setting, it does not fit in with their lifestyle or they are not confident enough to be able go into a gym.

I believe everyone should have the opportunity to become the best version of themselves, whatever their circumstances and offering a mobile services enables me to go direct to my clients and offer a much more bespoke one to one personal training service.

I am a fully qualified personal trainer with proven experience of helping clients, whatever their fitness levels and goals, to become the best version of themselves. Your goals are my goals and I will be 100% with you every step of the way throughout our journey together.
