Up to date Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) are now an integral part of the property sales and lettings processes.
Potential buyers and tenants are increasingly more environmentally aware and also wish to minimise their utility costs. They will use the EPC rating to assess a property’s energy efficiency and that influences their decision to buy or rent.
So it’s important that EPCs for your properties are up to date and ready for scrutiny. Equally important is that you take appropriate measures to ensure that your properties’ energy performance ratings are as high as they can be.
