Paul is very knowledgeable and explained everything that he was doing, why he was doing it and what is would do anatomically. He did it in a very easy to understand way. Paul is both very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I recently saw him for some shoulder pain I’d been having and he helped loosen them off greatly. He applies just the right amount of pressure and makes the experience both beneficial and enjoyable. 10/10 recommend More...

The most friendly and welcoming gym! Paul and the team really take the time to see how you are feeling and how you are finding things. They are very professional and this is the first gym I’ve ever enjoyed! They motivate you to do well and achieve your goals whist also feeling like friends. Couldn’t recommend this gym anymore! I was so scared to sign up to a gym by myself as it can be scary, after just arriving there I felt right at home. I’ve already lost 6 pounds in 3 weeks and it’s definitely worth the money! I work all over the country, so I’ve trained in a lot of different type of gyms and I’ve never found a gym that feels like home. Everyone is so friendly and the team are amazing and so encouraging. no matter what your ability, goals, shape or size is, there is no stigma that some people feel in a ‘typical’ gym (and no one posing in the mirror) When my time is up in the area, I’ll be saddened to leave such an amazing bunch of people but am sure they’ll always remember the handstand man . It has been almost 4 years ago now that I first came to Paul with little more than a vague aim to ‘get fitter and stronger’. I hadn’t lifted weights at all previously and now I find myself training 4-5 times a week and competing in Olympic weightlifting. I set goals for myself and Paul sets them higher, driving me to improve always. He is a supportive and committed Coach/PT and has an excellent knowledge base. I travel from Liverpool 4 times a week to train with Paul and the others who train in Olympic weightlifting. I made the decision to move to this gym from a one on one situation and it's been great. Gyms I hate them, tried loads. Blokes posing in mirrors, people staring at you, not knowing what to do, cannot get on equipment, PT trainers just want your money. No goals and no progress! Then I met Paul and it is the absolute opposite of the above I know when I walk through that door Paul will have a work out tailored for me and my goals; I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been. The Semi PT option has helped me meet new people who often share common goals and generates a friendly atmosphere. I still hate gyms but this is not really a gym, its better in every way! More...

Paul has been my personal trainer for around 6 years, this is the longest I have stayed at any gym. Paul is really knowledgable and can support different sessions depending on what you want to get from your health and fitness and also work around any injuries. Being in semi PT groups also helps you to make new friends and gives you the support when trying to hit new goals. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get fitter. More...
