Services

Visas are normally issued for a specific time period. If you have limited leave to remain in the UK, you will be required to make arrangements to extend your visa before the expiry date, or alternatively, leave the UK before your visa expires.

A spouse visa allows individuals who are married to someone, present and settled in the UK, to apply for entry clearance to the UK. This will allow your spouse to live and work in the UK.

A Fiancé(e) Visa will allow you to enter the UK and get married to someone who holds settled status in the UK. This is ideal if you want to stay in the UK afterwards. A successful application for a fiancé(e) visa, will lead to entry being granted, for a period of six months. During this period, you will need to get married to your partner in the UK.

A Standard Visitor visa is ideal for those who want to visit the UK for a number of reasons, for example visiting family, travel, tourism and leisure purposes. A visitor visa is usually issued for a period of six months, you will need to leave the UK before the expiry of your visa.

Marriage visit visa is ideal for those who are presently not in the UK and have no intentions of settling in the UK on a permanent basis. A Marriage visitor visa will allow you to enter the UK for a period of six months, during this period, you will be required to get married and leave the UK at the end of your visit.

There are different routes to gaining settlement in the UK. depending on the visa route you are on, you may qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain after a 5-year or 10-year period. We will assess the visa route you are on and inform you accordingly. Obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain will allow you to remain in the UK without requiring additional consent from the Home Office.

Changing your nationality can be considered as a major life event, some countries do not allow you to hold more than one citizenship. The UK on the other hand, allows you to hold more than one nationality. There is no automatic right to becoming a British Citizen. There are several ways to become a British Citizen, the process itself is known as ‘naturalisation’ for those 18 years and over.

A deportation order can be issued, if the Secretary of State deems the person’s deportation to be conducive to the public good. The Home Office will automatically pursue a deportation order, if a person who is not a British Citizen, is convicted of an offence and sentenced to a custodial sentence, of 12 months or more.
