My time with Charlie has been a positive journey. Charlie is so easy to get along with and really makes you feel your on a journey together. My goal was weightloss. But I feel with Charlie not only did I loose weight but I became stronger and I have a better understanding and approach to my nutrition too. I started the bespoke one to one online coaching 3 months ago when I was struggling to fit a workout into my routine.
Charlie devised a personal plan suited to my individual needs which included core, strength and weights. It was super easy to follow and 30 mins very doable throughout the day. Charlie checked in after each session with tips and encouragement and I was able to address any questions straight away.
The exercises were straightforward but also each had a short video attached if unsure. I ver quickly got to grips with them
I would thoroughly recommend this type of program for anyone, specifically if you have limited time or individual needs.

Having been a great fan of Charlie's classes for many many years, it was great to have a reset with Charlie’s 12 week coaching programme. I felt I just needed to tone up and perhaps push myself a little more, and Charlie really listened to what I was trying to achieve and devised a programme of exercise and sustainable nutritional advice that had me down to my target weight within 6 weeks and will make it easy to incorporate the changes for good. The exercise programme reminded me to push myself a bit further and has increased my strength, and I feel all over more toned and energised. This programme is the antitheist of the fad diet and the unsustainable exercise routine, and despite this my waist measurement went down by around 10%! Thank you Charlie! More...

Personal Trainers

I am an International postgraduate student in the UK who come from Indonesia since September 2022. Before going to the UK, I have followed some diet programs and doing gym exercise regularly, but it was never worked for me.
I started joined Prime Motion program with Charlie in October 2022. The main reason I ended up joining the 12 Weeks program is because I want to change my lifestyle and have a routine physical activity (to become a new version of me). At first I was skeptical about joining this program, because I had failed before. However, the results began to appear in 1 month, 2 months, up to 3 months later. The result honestly took me by surprise, because it had never happened before. The value for money is truly commensurate with the benefits and output obtained from this program.
Charlie is a very kind and helpful trainers. He always motivated me (everyday!) not to forget to do my daily physical activities, whether at home, at the gym, or getting up every morning to take a morning brisk walk. He provides programs and directions for types of exercise that suit my physical condition, and encourages us to get out of our comfort zone. I keep a record of the food/nutrition intake I eat each day and report it regularly to Charlie. He provides benchmarks and limits on food intake that must be met every day. We also have catching-up session every week so we can evaluate the exercise progress and prepare for the next week. Overall, this program is very recommended for people who willing to have a new lifestyle and diet. All of these things have proven to change my lifestyle and diet until now. Personal Trainers

Working with Charlie has given me the motivation I needed. Picking up running in lockdown I lost of a lot of weight, but since going back to the office it has been harder too get the motivation to work out and get my body moving again.

After he reached out to me after I put a request in a website, I took the opportunity to work with him to get me back into feeling confident with working out and getting my body working again.

Since working with him, I have learnt so much about micros and understand what food I am putting In my body. As well as learning patience is key and not to expect change over night, but feeling better about myself is just as good as loosing the pounds.

Working with Charlie not a waste of your time and would be lucky to have him. Can’t wait to work with him again till personal things have been resolved.

I would highly recommend Charlie of Prime Motion to be your health and fitness coach. I have used Charlie's exercise classes before (both face to face and online) and really enjoyed them. I then wanted to try and lose some more weight and get into better habits food and exercise wise so asked Charlie for his bespoke 12 week coaching. He really supported me, kept me focused and inspired. The nutrition help was crucial for me, I needed new recipes and food inspo which he gave me and the exercise programmes he designed were great, it made me dial in and try out different exercises I wouldn't have tried on my own and having the personal plan to stick to held me accountable along with his daily messaging and checking in. His regular feedback on my technique enabled me perfect my posture and form. I can truly say I've now got into a proper routine and the results I'm making have been amazing and more than I imagined. I'm making conscious healthy decisions now and my well-being is better than it’s ever been. Having Charlie as my coach was more than just helping me with an exercise plan, he was a friend who was there to support at any given time, he keeps you motivated and with the constant support you really feel like you're getting somewhere and when you see the results you just want to stay consistent and achieve more. To date I have lost just over 8KG, dropped 5 inches off my hips, 3 inches off my waist and 2 inches off my thighs. I completed Charlie’s 12 week bespoke coaching. I found Charlie to be very motivational and inspirational. He is very focused on supporting his clients to achieve their goals. He is very passionate about health and well-being and he encouraged me to think about the improvements my weight loss would have to my overall health rather than just aesthetically - which was what I was focusing on at the beginning. He taught me a number of really useful practical tips which you can build into your daily routine. He was always available to provide support, motivation, offer advice and education. I had coaching with Charlie after summer last year when I was at a low with my fitness strength and weight goals. Charlie was committed throughout and kept me on track, sadly an injury interrupted my progress. Despite this I didn’t let this affect me with Charlie’s help and managed to maintain my weight when previously I would have lost control. I have just completed a 3rd 12 week personal coaching period with Charlie.
I’ve been really amazed with the results particularly my overall strength and fitness and more toned core and limbs.
We set goals for each 12-week session and Charlie provided a tailored, varied programme over that period. We had regular catch up sessions to review progress which were extremely helpful.

I'm happy to recommend Charlie to anyone wanting to improve their general fitness and knowledge about nutrition.
Along with my wife, I signed up to his 12-week training program with two simple goals - to lose some weight and improve my 'shape'. Three months later, it's a great feeling to have to tighten the belt on my jeans and see more definition appear on the muscle groups we targeted and concentrated on.
We found simultaneously working on / following the individual plans Charlie had set up helped both of us remain focused and motivated - especially when it came to cooking meals.
Personally, the biggest thing I'm taking away is the need to concentrate on my diet , especially the quantity I eat. While I've always eaten healthily, recording and analysing each meal (via the app) was a revelation. We're both now devotees to looking at the 'nutritional information' labels on food!
What quickly became apparent was that I needed to increase my intake of protein - a challenge Charlie helped by providing us with some simple but effective dietary tips.
I was already going to our local gym before signing up, but I found the use of the 'True Coach' app helpful in guiding me to the best exercises for my goals.
Charlie’s a really good coach. We found him to be knowledgeable, friendly and always ready to provide some practical advise - and we'll continue to use the lessons we've learned over the last 12 weeks indefinitely.

I started Charlie’s 12 week online coaching programme focussing on some key goals for myself. I wanted to be more motivated with exercising, I needed guidance with nutrition, I wanted to be able to wear clothes I hadn’t fitted into for a while and I also wanted to tone up. My husband decided to join me in the plan as he shared similar fitness aims - and doing the 12 week programme as a couple worked really well. I found things like the planning and preparing of nutritious meals was much easier for two.
As a result of Charlie’s coaching we’ve both became much more aware of the importance of the daily need to move and exercise, whilst also now appreciating how essential it is to make adjustments to our food intake in terms of quality and quantity. Boosting my protein levels was perhaps the hardest food challenge I had! I’ve also achieved a change for the better in my body shape, not much in terms of weight loss but my body composition and I now feel trimmer, much stronger and my muscles are definitely more toned, especially my arms.
Charlie provided great encouragement throughout, he is extremely knowledgeable, always cheerful and made himself available for weekly catchups and support when we needed it. Thank you Charlie I’ve really enjoyed the whole process and highly recommend you!

This is the best thing that happened to me during the pandemic. Being able to exercise at home, keeping fit and actually losing some kg while working from home was a great accomplishment and all were possible with the hard work of a great trainer, Charlie!

Prime Motion was recommended to my by a friend who had been Charlie's customer back at one of Bath's gyms. During the first lockdown when all the gyms were closed I was looking for an alternative to keep moving and to stay in shape since I was a frequent gym goer before. I found Charlie's classes to be equally challenging if not more! There is a variety to choose from, from HIIT to stretch. It seems that people of all ages join in but 2-3 options are given for the more challenging exercises. For me it is a great way to keep the routine up and not slip up during the restrictions. On demand option is available too if the timetable doesn't suit me occasionally. I tend to attend the live classes as Charlie provides constant advice, gives us tips and keeps us in check if we feel lazy. 5 starts from me. More...

After putting on a lot of weight over lockdown and consequently feeling lethargic and unfit, I signed up for Charlie’s bespoke 12 week programme to get back on track and improve my overall health and fitness. With tailored weekly workout programmes and nutritional advice, I was able to lose over 10kg, improve my strength, and start feeling a bit more like myself - that was even including a holiday and getting ill too. Weekly catch ups and daily nutrition check-ins helped me stay on track and Charlie’s support enabled me to make huge progress. I broke my leg in March this year and as soon as I could partially weight bear I contacted Charlie Babb. I knew him from a gym in Bath and did his exercise classes during the pandemic online. I knew he was the man to get me back on my feet and get me fit again ! We started with a gentle programme of non-weight bearing exercises using bands and gentle weights. I did a private online lesson with Charlie every week for 10 weeks and by the end I was feeling fit and able to take it to the next stage. I was a bit sceptical about having a PT online but it worked perfectly , Charlie was so encouraging and could easily see where i needed correcting or which exercises would work best for my particular injury. I find it hard to work out on my own but Charlie is so motivating that I had no problem working on my own during the week with the exercise routine Charlie had given me. Covid forced me to search online for a way of trying to keep fit. My self discipline is not great and I needed to find a ‘live’ session to keep me focussed.

Prime Motion was recommended to me and I contacted Charlie. I have been so impressed with his professionalism, enthusiasm and his power to motivate. The sessions are intense but full of humour and encouragement. My chiropractor daughter, who joined me in a session, reckons you’ll be keeping me mobile for many years to come.

Furthermore, I had put on a few kilos over Lockdown which I just couldn’t shift, so I decided to accept Charlie’s challenge to shed them. My side of the bargain was to do at least four Zoom classes with Charlie a week, to do at least 6000 steps a day and to note everything I ate each day over a period of 12 weeks.
With Charlie’s frequent encouragement by text and phone, I found it surprisingly easy to get into the habit of joining all 6 of the 9am classes and enjoyed them all. It’s great to exercise with a group of friendly, like-minded people and the perfect way to start the day.

I modified my eating habits with Charlie’s help and amazingly I didn’t feel hungry. The daily calorie intake Charlie suggested was generous and the meals he suggested were high in protein and filling. The weekly weigh-in showed consistent weight loss and by the end of the 12 weeks I was thrilled to be comfortable in my clothes again, having lost 7 kilos. So thank you, thank you Charlie - that was the best way ever to lose weight and my eating and exercise habits have hopefully changed for good.

I would highly recommend Charlie to anyone wishing to tone up, feel fitter and improve energy levels; and if you want to lose a few pounds, I would encourage you to do it ‘Charlie’s way’!

Charlie is an inspirational and motivational fitness guru who talks the talk and walks the walk. He has pushed my stamina to the next level that I never knew existed!

In many ways Charlie is more passionate than me about my health and the progress I make. Consequently this gives me the drive to do better for myself. To achieve my goals at a moderate speed by having the right mindset and the motivation, which would not be there if it weren't for Charlie encouraging me.

After 12 weeks of transformation with Charlie, I lost some stubborn weight of 1.5 stone. I felt so much more confidence in myself. My resistance forms are also better and more consistent every day.

There are also some golden nuggets of wisdom that Charlie will randomly come out with that I would remember on a day to day basis which has helped with my willpower. I've learned a lot about longevity over quick unsustainable results.

I'll have a list of them to remind me throughout the day to refuse junk food and to give my body what I need rather than the taste that I crave that I would regret later on.

From someone who have had multiple transformation coaches in the past, Charlie is definitely the best that I have come across who continually delivers and therefore I get the results that I want.

Yes. All my services are offered online/remotely. My coaching encompasses weekly catch-up calls and daily messaging to ensure adherence and maximise accountability.

Before Covid-19, my entire coaching was face-to-face and then I transitioned my business to online in March 2019. In the past, when a client of mine has had covid during our coaching, I have modified their training programme appropriately to accommodate for their illness.
