I can’t recommend this company enough!!! Every place I went to quoted me over £250! I nearly gave up but luckily found this little gem in wokingham! I called them and the guy was very polite and helpful, he quoted me £120 for a back screen replacement on my iPhone 8. He was shocked that I was told more than that. I took it in and they have done such an amazing job! Popped a screen protector on free of charge as well! Not only that but this phone was for my mum as I upgraded and wanted to give her my old one, so when she picked it up they transferred her old phone onto this one for her and sorted it all out for her! Cracked Apple watch glass (probably a manufacturing fault but Apple wanted £220 to fix) and an i=phone 6s with dead display despite it being replaced. Couldn't find anyone who could fix them for a sensible price until I discovered Pratts Pods. Rory fixed my Apple watch for half the price Apple were charging, and after many hours work and determination he found a deep seated component failure on the main board of the i-phone, and fixed it for £70 ! Really impressed that I was given good, honest advice even though it resulted in a lost sale for them. It would have been easy for them to ask me to bring in my phone only to find there really was little chance of bringing it back to life, wasting money that I could spend on getting a new one. It's refreshing to come across a company who truly wants to help and is willing to spend time to explain everything even though no money exchanged hands. What do you love most about your job?
I have always loved taking things apart and putting them back together, we undertake board level repairs and repair a wide range of electronics meaning no 2 days are the same.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I broke a lot of iPods, so taught myself how to repair them. The business grew from my first iPod repair (the iPod that I still use daily after the first repair 10 years ago!)
