We live in Basford, Nottingham. We hired a van last minute, the service was impeccable and the van was a dream to drive and had doors on both sides and the back, which made loading really easy. 10/10

I would definitely recommend. I am from Australia and hired from Practical car and van office in Edenbridge KENT when in England this month. They were extremely helpful on the phone when booking and equally helpful when picking up vehicle and dropping off. Car was a Fiat 500. Avoid Practical Car and Van Rental from Croydon at all costs... They are thieves!... The name of the staff that served me is Shafquat. Please read previous reviews about him before booking. I hired a van from them in July 2022 and all initially went well... Fast forward to end of September, this company charged £142 to my card and claimed that it was for a PCN of £100 and admin fee of £42 without informing me in the first place. Bear in mind, I didn't even get a PCN whilst I had the van. I never got to see the Parking Charge Notice and even if one existed, I wasn't given an opportuntiy to appeal it... I called the office and the phone was hung up on me, after the staff said there was a pcn and they have paid for it...and have already charged my card without first informing me. I've never seen such blatant fraudulent behaviour in my life. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS THAT ARE CHARGING PEOPLE'S CARD THREE MONTHS AFTER VAN HIRE. More...

I made a inquiry for a van needed for tomorrow for one day, very soon received email back from Cambridge, confirming availability, then after a phone call I said I need to deliver 2 parcels to Nottingham then I heard from the guy on the phone from Cambridge, why I don't go to Mildenhire i checked them and Mildenhire are bit more expensive (counting mileage) then I said I need actually deliver the parcels to Button on Trent which is just 18 miles more and the guy refused me to hire the van as he thought it will be Nottingham not Burton. .. don't recommend them as they changing mind from minute to minute. unprofessional approach to the customer.
