Sat and talked to both me and my husband asked for our questions/concerns took a background history introduced herself to our 8 wk old puppy Lily
The next part was just amazing she did a learning session which she recorded
Which we had in our phones within a few hours.
Then a 11 page report which included a daily routine, reasons for doing what we are to do etc.
With Vics help I’ve managed to get a full nights sleep. But we have a puppy that people already are saying how good she is
Victoria knows her business and understands the thinking and reasons for doing things it’s incredible.
I showed the report to my brother who said you’d never get it with a child.

My husband and I decided to use Pooch on a Pedestal after reading the amazing five-star reviews, yet even against these high expectations we have been blown away by the service provided. Victoria and Tom have been amazing with our four month old cavapoo, Betsy, taking her out for walks and training/popping in for training when we are in work. Before using Pooch on a Pedestal, the thought of someone else taking out Betsy made me feel nervous — but now, having seen the warmth and care Victoria and Tom have for Betsy (and how happy and content she is with them), I feel more at ease on days when I know they are seeing her. Victoria and Tom send us regular updates in the form of messages, pictures, videos (which we can’t get enough of), and thorough reports. It really is an exceptional, personable and professional service that is great value for money. Victoria has been working with our 18month old Cavapoochon for the past few weeks. The service is tailored to solo or group walks and for us it has been invaluable to understand our dogs behaviour more and how best to work with him to correct unwanted behaviours. Victoria is really lovely. She is so full of knowledge, and has been so helpful with advice on how to get our puppy to settle into her new home. Victoria has been available to ask any questions I have had at anytime. Betsy (our puppy) has had one short training session with Victoria. Betsy is nervous with new people, but by the end of her training session she clearly loved Victoria and really enjoyed her session. I cannot recommend Tom and Victoria enough!!! They are just incredible!! We had two Poms that Tom spent time with training them, but sadly we lost Narla a few weeks ago. Since losing her sister, Honey has been given amazing support during such a difficult time from Tom. We have a new Pom puppy now to help Honey. Both Tom and Victoria have helped with advice and support to us all with this transition. Our babies are loved and treated like princesses, I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else!! They are 5 star!! Victoria and Tom looked after our 8 month old puppy last week. Not only was it our first time leaving him, but he had suffered a back injury and was in lots of pain and on various medications. If he had been booked into kennels we would have cancelled our holiday and had two very upset children! But Eric had bonded with Victoria through walking / training sessions and we knew he would be in amazing hands. We were not wrong!!! They looked him like he was their own and went above and beyond to make sure he was looked after and recovered from his injury. They contacted the vets when necessary, managed his medication and, most importantly, provided heaps of cuddles, love and rest. What do you love most about your job?
We love to ensure every dog has a full, happy and enriched life. We have not met a dog yet who we do not love immediately and we enjoy planning for each dog's individual needs, however complex.
Every dog needs daily enrichment to live happy, full and long lives. Enrichment is providing a challenging, stimulating, interactive and variable environment. This encourages your dog to explore, think, learn, engage, and be healthy, mentally, emotionally and physically.
Your dog also needs suitable companionship, exercise, play and the chance to behave naturally, dependent on breed, size, age, health and background every day.
We enjoy planning this for your dog so you and your pooch have the best relationship.
If your dog is left alone, it is likely he or she suffers distress. Experts recommend four hours as the maximum time period dogs are left alone.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The PAW report showed so many dogs were being left alone for hours or hurried on a swift walk by unqualified people. It also showed many were unable to show their natural behaviours and did not have enough companionship. There are also so many more being left at Rescue Centres and we want to try and make a difference.
We also couldn't find anyone we would trust with our dogs in terms of care, qualifications or expertise hence we started our own after years of working with dogs and meeting their individual needs.

We are fully licensed and inspected by Newport Council and your small dogs live as part of our family as they do at home, with plenty of walks, games, socialisation and cuddles.
We are not offering a fast paced walk with lots of other dogs for as cheap a price as possible. Every dog walk or home visit is planned for the specific dog - sensory, mentally stimulating, lots of fun and interactive
Our wide range of packages are for those who want their dogs to have their holistic needs met during planned visits or walks by qualified professionals so they can feel happy that their dog is safe and enjoying him or herself in the best care.
Personalised Platinum Potter and Puzzle
Research shows that 45 minutes of the right amount of exercise in one session is what most breeds need, especially if this includes sensory and mental stimulation too, which can be just as tiring as walking. We have found this to be the case with big and small dogs if the plan is created the individual.
This package is personalised around your pooch and will be at the right pace and distance for your dog and include the right enrichment activities. Most walks are solo but are never more than 2 for myself or my partner as we want the attention based on your dog-not spread over 5 or 10 others.

We offer individualised development programnes for puppies which include training, socialisation and enrichment.
We also provide specialist packages for older dogs who need more focus on enrichment activities, creating individual plans to take into account health needs
Platinum Training Packages
These are created with the owner and can be a home boarding training weekend for puppies or 1 to 1 training with videos or a specific focused package.
