It is so important to find a trades-person you can trust. I had had my boiler serviced a couple of days beforehand by a rival however a problem still existed with my boiler system. I was reluctant to use the same company and so searched out an alternative. I am so pleased I did as Andrew was not only knowledgeable and happy to discuss this as well as other potential issues/fixes, he was able to fix my issue with limited fuss! Landlords Responsibilities
As a landlord, you are responsible for the safety of your tenants. All installation, maintenance and safety checks need to be carried out every 12 months on all Gas Appliances by a Gas Safe Engineer, even if the property is rented short term or less than a year you are still required to have a Gas Safety Certificate.
A record of the Gas Safety Certificated must be kept for at least 2 years and given to the tenant within 28 days of the checks being carried out, also you must make your tenants aware of what to do in case of emergency and show them where to turn off the mains gas supply at the meter.
