No was fantastic with my new rescue puppy, Rita. She knew exactly what my dog needed and how to help ease her into a 2 dog household. I would highly recommend her work.

I was so relieved to have found Jo @ Pippin Pet Services, having visited a few dog boarders I immediately knew our Cockapoo Rita will love her holiday with Jo. Her own dog Reba and another boarder got on amazingly well and Jo's set up was perfect and safe for the dogs. A true home from home. I could see that she knew what she was doing, was well organised and her passion for animals was clear. Rita had an amazing time while we were on holiday, we will definitely use you again Jo, will bring Rita for day care too before she misses you and Reba too much:-) More...
What do you love most about your job?
I thoroughly enjoy seeing the progress in the dogs and how happy the owners are with improvements to their relationship with their dog. Witnessing the 'genius' moments when pup and owner are in tune with each other is the best reward for me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The area of dog training is very unregulated, and I have seen the damage a bad trainer can have long term on a dog. I wanted to make sure that a professional means that - someone who has studied, been assessed and is fit for purpose, as you would expect from any other professional (doctor, plumber, teacher etc). Dogs need a suitable education and I wanted to bring this ethical approach to this. Most of us get pets to have a bond and partnership, so I set up (after extensive training) to bring this to owners for their own pups.
Why should our clients choose you?
My belief is that dogs do not respond best to fear or pain, but by encouragement and trust. There are many still believing that we have to be a 'master' and be brutal (physically and mentally) to our animals....this is NOT what I sign up to.
I prefer to show a way to get your dog thinking - they love problem solving, using their brains and we need to show them the right way to do this, and harnessing their natural instincts.
I also enjoy coaching owners to be able to train their dog in an effective and kind way, seeing that bond grow and the relationship blossom.
