From start to finish everything was easy. We arranged from a distance and Derek responded quickly to all enquiries, making everything stress and hassle free. We met up on a couple of occasions before the wedding, both at the wedding venue and the meal venue, and explored different options for photographs. Derek encouraged us to come up with our own ideas as well as having lots of his own.

The day went amazingly well, Derek was professional and clear in what he wanted us and our guests to do.

We had our first taste of the photos within 24 hours and the remainder of our photos within a week. We were stunned at the quality and quantity of the photographs. Derek has managed to capture 'us' in all of the photos he has taken. There isn't one we don't love. Derek is, without doubt, a craftsman.

Well, what can you say. We spotted ‘Picture the story’ photographer ‘Derek’ whilst doing a random search on the internet. As parents, who had offered to pay for our eldest daughters wedding photos, we obviously did our research . Having looked at numerous other wedding photographers, and also got quotes, we found ‘Derek’ and after speaking with him we realised what very reasonable prices he charged. Still slightly sceptical when he showed us his work we booked him for our daughters wedding on 23rd September 2017. The results have been fabulous and the additional ‘photo booth’ went down a storm. He is a really nice man and without doubt must be one of the most reasonably priced wedding photographers out there. After searching through many photographers we came across Derek. We setup a meeting and instantly liked Derek. A very genuine person with a great passion for his work. We discussed the various options and very reasonable prices. Our big day was magical and Derek was beyond expectation, the photos arrived as soon as we were back from honeymoon and unlike most photographers we got all the pictures from our day at no extra charge. The photos were first class and we had 850 of them in 3 different colours. The photo booth was loved by all young and old with great pics for everyone. Derek was great, we made a list of shots and styles and that's exactly what we got, was so impressed with all the final images and all our friends and family are always commenting on them
