What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people every day, people from different parts of the world: the UK, US, Asia—people whom I would never have met had I not been in this business! I also love the fact that I get to talk about music with them, support them in their musical journey and watch them evolve into better musicians.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I want to help students to find their own voice and develop essential skills like improvisation, learning by ear, sight reading, etc.
The internet is full of many many talented piano teachers, who are doing amazing work with their students. However, I feel that there are some musical topics that remain untalked about because of how challenging it might be to talk about them, topics such as ear training, improvisation and music theory.
This business gives me the opportunity to talk about these topics and encourage all musicians to find their own voice.
