Q&As

Our services are primarily provided remotely at our business location, Fuse Fitness in Newark. However, initial consultations and full descriptions of rehabilitation programmes can be undertaken online if necessary.

We have specific measures in place to keep our clients safe during their treatment session. Whether that be our staff utilising correct PPE, or the sufficient cleaning measures adopted in between clients.

Services

Sports massage is a prominent manual therapy technique within both sporting and non-sporting populations, and often acts as a principal intervention technique for musculoskeletal injuries.

PROPOSED BENEFITS:
-Increase in blood flow
-Decrease in muscular pain
-Increase in ROM, injury recovery & tissue healing
-Decrease in muscle fatigue

Dry-needling is a simple, safe and effective approach to working with pain which can be successfully integrated into the practice of almost any hands on qualified professional therapist.

Acupuncture at its most basic application is to insert the needles in the area of where you want to have an effect.

PROPOSED BENEFITS:
-The release of several neuropeptides (chemicals for self-healing)
-Central regulatory effects (become more relaxed, sleeping better, and can be in a more positive mindset)

RockPods are a form of dry cupping – an alternative form of manual therapy used to decompress or ‘lift’ the skin in order to loosen different muscular tissues, and promote many physiological and neurological benefits.

As RockPods are medical grade silicon pods, the use of RockPods is usually classified as ‘myofascial cupping’.

PROPOSED BENEFITS:
-Increase in blood flow
-Decrease in pain (e.g., muscular, joint)
-Increase in ROM
-Improved motor control
