Our role is to be as unobtrusive as possible, taking natural shots while making sure everyone feels at ease.

I won a newborn photoshoot through Phil and Vicky's Facebook page and I'm so glad I did. from the phone consultation, to picking up our photos, the whole process was brilliant. On the day of the shoot, Phil and Vicky were so welcoming and made us feel at ease. They were so good with our little Alice and they whole experience was so laid back. I entered a Facebook competition for a pet photo shoot, didn't win but was offered the chance to do a photo shoot with my Mollie. I booked her in not expecting much from it, I didn't think she would let anyone take pictures of her, but she was a super star. Phill was amazing and patient with her and captured some brilliant shots. Vicky was lovely during and our viewing and didn't laugh when me and my daughter cried! She gave us time and help to select our favourite images. Together they are a wonderful team and make it all from start to finish a lovely experience. They’re so lovely and you’ll instantly be put at ease, there experience and advise is second to none. My daughter is only 7 months old and they were amazing with her truly wonderful. From start to finish I cannot fault Philip Charles Photography, I was very particular in what I wanted and Phil and Vicky made that happen. We only met Phil at the shoot and he made us feel completely at ease, we had a 2 year old and a newborn and with Phil being a dad himself he completely understood when we had to stop and feed the baby and had a toddler running wild. When we went back to choose our photos we met Vicky and she too made us feel very welcome and she did not put any pressure on us when choosing our photos, she was very helpful when we needed her advice on what was the best layout on the ones we did choose. I went a few weeks ago and was impressed by the Monte Cristo. It was absolutely amazing along with my cappuccino. I figured I would give it another try for a bite before work. I came in earlier this I decided on an omelette and another cappuccino. The omelette that I tried was the cheddar and bacon. Nothing special. We have gone twice for desserts, since they call themselves a bakery, and were highly disappointed both times. This time we got cupcakes that were so dry they should have been in the trash. We booked a photo session with our newborn and our two year old. We booked last minute and we were able to go the very next day! Phil was extremely professional yet friendly and approachable throughout the whole session. We were there for around two hours and felt at home and at ease - both Phil and Vicky were amazing with our children and we could not recommend them enough. Love this place - love these people!Have had 2 photo shoots for my daughter here now. One when she was 5 and again at 8. Philip is great with the kids. Puts them at ease - has a great laugh with them and gets to know them a bit to figure out what poses will suit them. Vicky is superb too. Always so helpful with the organisation beforehand and brilliant with the presentation of the pics and aftercare bit too. A real ‘family’ business and this comes across - I wouldn’t use another company for any pics I want. I live over an hour away from them but totally worth the journeys - fab pics every time. What do you love most about your job?
Quite simply, I love weddings! They are so happy and filled with so much love that I get swept up in all the happy emotions of the day. To the point when I see a Groom break down in tears during the ceremony, I'm in tears too - I can't help it.

I'm as passionate about your wedding as you are. I know this sounds corny, but it's the truth. I want to tell the story of your day, so every time you look back over the photos, the whole day is relived.

I keep a safe distance where possible, regular hand washing/use of sanitiser, only me touches my equipment.

Rather than just offering a standard package, we think it’s important that you get to choose exactly what you want. That’s why we offer tailor-made professional wedding photography that you can personalise to your specific needs.
However, as a general guide, we:
- Meet at the venue before your wedding day so you can tell us the shots you want
- Start and finish the photography whenever you want - as little or as much coverage as you choose
- Provide a USB with fully edited images that you can print
Include an album box set
- Once we know exactly what you want to achieve, we’ll gently guide you and your guests on the day to make sure the photos are simply unforgettable.
