What do you love most about your job?
Animals are my passion, so being around pets everyday is absolutely fantastic for me. From walking dogs (either individually or in a group) to cat visits and overnight house sits, everyday is different. Plus every pet I care for is unique with their own character. I genuinely enjoy getting up each morning, knowing I'll have many incredible pets to visit and walk in the coming hours. It truly is a dream come true working in this industry and I find it immensely satisfying.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After being employed by Royal Mail for 28 years, I decided to take the plunge and start my own business. PHG seemed the natural choice as it reflected my love of animals.
After working inside a building for eight hours every day, it is incredible that I can now enjoy fresh air during my dog walks. Plus, I love the fact that I can travel to different locations to pet sit and house sit.

My dog walking van is equipped with purpose built, fully secure dog cages and is ventilated with wind-powered fans, electric fans and air vents.
Group Dog Walking
I proudly offer a daily group walk in a fully secured 2.5 acre field at midday. We have exclusive access to the field and it is completely secured with six foot high fencing around the perimeter. We have permanent access to water, plenty of shade, and a huge amount of space for a group of no more than six dogs to exercise, explore and socialise.
As part of my service, I supply all of the equipment including dog leads, towels and treats. All I ask is that your dog is microchipped with a dog tag. Plus, a harness is preferrable.
My dog walking service includes the collection and return of your dog, plus a one hour walk in a secured field. Your dog will be collected and returned in my fully kitted out van and they will have a comfortable crate all to themselves. My van is fully ventilated, with both electric and wind-powered fans, plus air vents on both sides of the van.
I am fully insured with an up-to-date DBS check.
Upon return, you will receive an update from me regarding the walk along with very cute pictures of your dog with all of his/her pals running around together.

Solo Dog Walking
I offer a bespoke, solo walking service between the hours of 8am and 10:30am, and again from 3pm and 4:30pm. As part of my service, I supply all of the equipment including dog leads, towels and treats. All I ask is that your dog is microchipped with a dog tag and an escape-proof harness. My dog walking service includes the collection and return of your dog, plus a 30-60 minute walk. The walk can either be held locally or at an agreed location. All solo walks are strictly on lead as I take the safety of your dog very seriously. At the end of each walk, you will receive a message from me along with very cute pictures of your dog enjoying themselves. Cat Visits
I offer a fully bespoke service, tailored to the specific needs of your cat (s). I will follow their exact routine to ensure your cat remains content and relaxed while you are away, thus giving you complete peace of mind. Before you head away, I will arrange a free consultation at your home to fully understand the visiting and feeding routine.
My services include feeding, grooming and enrichment, plus plenty of fuss will be provided at all times to cats who are comfortable with this. I will keep litter trays cleaned and will put down fresh drinking water daily.
I take the security of your home very seriously and will discuss security arrangements with you during our consultation (such as the opening and closing of curtains).
Furthermore, I throw in lots of nice little touches as I like to go that extra mile. An example of this includes daily updates with cute pictures of your cat (s) looking happy and content.
