What inspired you to start your own business?
We were inspired to start Project Home when our research showed that the good quality architects and builders tend to be too busy to undertake smaller domestic works and so the domestic customer gets pushed down the list or just fobbed off leaving them to employ one man band designers and tradesmen often resulting in a stressful and unsatisfactory outcome.
Our founder Phil Speak has over thirty years of experience in the industry being involved in the design and build of residential and commercial projects. This experience will help you to complete your project in a stress free and cost effective way.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All or staff wear covid secure PPE when in your home and follow our covid guidelines. We have changed the way we do indoor consultations and meetings from face to face to screen to screen and this will be maintained until June 2021 or later if required.
Design
When you decide to use us, our architect will visit your home to take measurements and to discuss your project with you in detail, they will even prepare basic concept sketches.
Once you are happy they will return to the office and draw everything up ready for submission for planning and building regulation approval.
The design process will be fun, exciting but always collaborative.
Project Management
The build phase can be the most stressful part of the process. Which builder do you use, how do you answer the questions they will invariably ask and how do you know how much to pay them and when..?
If you decide to take advantage of our Project Management service, our experienced team will deal with everything for you and ensure that your project is delivered to standards that we set, on time and within your budget, leaving you to get on with your life.
