We had not left our 3 year old cocker spaniel before, so were a bit worried about going away for 10 days. Ruth looked after her so well, even taking care of her infected paw (with no fuss) and kept in touch by sending daily updates and lots of photos. We are so glad that we contacted Petstay. This is our first experience of dog boarding and the whole process , from matching our dog Darroch, to the perfect home , to his care whilst we are away, has been truly outstanding. We have used the service four times this summer and Darroch clearly loves his holidays by the sea with Sheila and Graham! We were anxious to leave our bouncy labrador with anyone, but the process with PetStay couldn't have been easier. Good comms to gauge our dogs temperament and then matched with a lovely family with similar day to day goings on to ourselves. I have used Petstay for the last three years, very successfully.

Our wee dog Stella is a very anxious little girl and so staying in someone’s home has been great for her, she really wouldn’t cope with kennels.

I know that a lot of people worry about leaving their dog with strangers but PetStay arrange a visit beforehand and you get to meet the carers, see their home and get answers to all of the questions you may have. They also have a detailed questionnaire about your dogs likes and dislikes, their health, diet etc. which means the carers have a really good base to start from for looking after your dog and they have insurance and vet arrangements.

We have been very lucky with the couple who look after Stella as they really love her like their own and she is so happy to see them whenever we take her to them. More...
