My father in laws dog needed emergency home boarding and we were lucky enough to find a wonderful home through Petstay with Gerri and Mike. I was concerned leaving Branny and Sugar with anyone as they are both very nervous dogs but I had nothing whatsoever to worry about. They had the most fantastic time. Janet and Richard were amazing with them. Walks on the beach, in the woods. Loads of photos and videos over their stay. My cocker Sammy was with Dee and Fred of Petstay for a week and I can t praise them enough. Our Archie had a brilliant time staying with Sue. She was the perfect person to look after him while we were away, handpicked for Archie by Alistair. Money making scam...you can find cheaper or even free options. They claim they are safer but other cheaper options online also have insurance and are registered with the local council. I've read the owners extensive comments to other reviewers regarding non return of deposits ...would you trust this woman..She obviously cares more about the money she earns from her franchisees than about the dogs she is supposed to care for. Thor my 6 month old chow chow has just returned from a weekend with dot although a very aloof breed with patience he warmed to dot and her husband and looked as if he had a great time with lots of contact and photos of Thor throughout the weekend would 100% recommend this service and dot if anyone is ever looking to have there dog watched

Hannah settled in with Fred and Dee very quickly. During her 3 day petstay she was well looked after, as if she was their own dog, and she had lots of cuddles with Dee and even allowed some luxuries that she would not ordinarily have at home! Fred played with her, a favourite being a squeaky ball and she had lots of walks in the rain with Fred and Dee. After her stay, I found her transition back into life at home went smoothly afterwards, it was just as if she had never been away. I would recommend Fred and Dee as they included Hannah in their normal routine family life and were very attentive to her needs throughout the stay. PetStay has been amazing (as always) Julie is the most caring loving person I could leave myrtle with. Although I say it's like being at home. .. Its not, it's so much better! I have just recently used PetStay and me and my partner couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received. From the moment I enquired about my dog Hugo, the communication Was great from Leigh. I was placed with Sharon and from the moment we had our meet and greet I knew it was with the right carer. She showed so much love towards Hugo. This was the first time we had left Hugo so I was very nervous but with lots of communication and pictures from Sharon I knew that he was happy and my nerves were soon eased. We are so relieved to find PetStay and know that our dog, Colin, is in safe, friendly and professional hands.We managed to go on a holiday recently which was booked pre-Covid times. PetStay honoured our booking and ensured all safe procedures were in place for me and my husband, the sitters and our dog.Bryan and Kerry looked after Colin for 2 weeks. We were bowled over by how content and happy Colin was when we collected him. Bryan kept us regularly posted with photos of Colin's day-to-day antics with walks, play and so on. Thankyou Petstay for providing an excellent service from my initial enquiry to Lauren right through to picking up Poppy after her weeks stay with Dawn and her family. Lauren was very prompt with communication and informative. Dawn was the perfect choice of carer for looking after Poppy our 6 month old Labradoodle. The only thing I would suggest to Petstay is that carers are encouraged to send pictures and updates of the dogs in their care during their stay to owners. Winston had a lovely time with Gerri and Mike. We had no worries leaving him with such wonderful people. It was Winston’s first time staying away and at 8 months old the thought was a little unnerving until we met Gerri and Mike. They kept us updated reassuring us he was ok and with some lovely photos! Janet and Arthur looked after my dogs really well. I was worried about leaving them as one is a rescue and gets scared easily, but they were fine. It was my intention to use Petstay this year and I have paid a £200 deposit. Of course events have overtaken everybody's plans and my flights were cancelled. I asked Petstay if I could use my deposit next year but t was refused. Indeed another £200 was asked for should I wish to rebook. Petstay are the only company I have come across who have not been fair and sympathetic during the Covid crisis. Perhaps somebody could tell me what I got for my £200? More...

Bertie loved his stay with Yvonne. He is a very shy dog and can be anxious with new people but petstay paired us with the ideal carer for him. Yvonne put both myself and Bertie at easy and I felt comfortable leaving him in her care. She kept me regularly updated while Bertie stayed and really couldn't have done anymore to make him happy. Having just returned from my first holiday without our dog, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Leigh, John and Shirley for taking such good care of Brodie while we were away. From the first initial enquiry through to being matched with John and Shirley and the care they provided, the communication has been excellent and I have been absolutely delighted with the service. We received regular photos and videos while we were away which gave us real peace of mind that Brodie was being well looked after and most of all that he was happy!
