Disappointing service when setting up a subscription for puppy food.

I had to chase delivery as after almost a week I had not received a dispatch email. Pets & Friends advised there had been a delay with their courier and my parcel was still at the hub. They advised they would chase it up and sent me the tracking info so i could monitor it too. The following day the tracking had not updated so I chased again as it was now a week since I ordered and I needed to go out and purchase more puppy food if this was not going to arrive soon. Pets and Friends said they would chase their courier again. I asked if they could send another parcel on 24 hr delivery and ask the courier to return the one they had but I got no response so I had to go and buy more food despite paying for a subscription. The food has now arrived and I understand things go wrong sometimes but I would have appreciated more help from you as your customer rather than just being told you would chase your courier. Food is a priority item after all.
I won't hesitate to cancel my subscription should my next parcel not arrive on time. More...

I will start by saying that I am leaving 1 star only because I can’t offer 0.
We were looking for a groomer as the one we used to go is based in Nottingham and we thought is the time to find another one closer to our home. We found this groomer from inside Pets & Friends (in Derby next to Wickes) not sure if the groomer salon is independent or is part of the same business.
A few weeks ago we went to this groomer purely to ask some questions and make an appointment. I explained that when I bring my cat for the appointment I would like to be inside with her and maybe helping by holding her as she gets really scared and my presence is comforting for her (I did this before with my previous groomer). I was told by the lady I talked to at that time that this is not the way they work and might not be possible but she would ask her manager if this is possible(was a really nice lady but I never got a response back). In the conclusion I might not be able to be inside and help but I would bring my cat wait outside looking at her through the window and take her home.
We made an appointment for the 13th of July, all good. On the day of the appointment we were told that we need to reschedule because one of the staff was off sick or something like that. Had no problem with this as this can happen anytime to anyone and is a normal thing. We were rescheduled for Monday, 18th of July at 15:00. Bare in mind this is the day with 39 degrees C. We arrived in time at the appointment and I could see through the window that they (4 people) were busy with one of the cats. I asked someone from inside the shop approximately how much we need to wait as I prefer to wait with my cat in the car (as she was stressed out), she went inside the groomer salon and asked for me and I was told that a few minutes. I was suggested that I could bring my cat inside and I explained that is better for my cat if we wait inside the car and she offered to let me know when is our turn. After waiting for half an hour my partner went inside and asked again how long we have to wait for, he was told that we have to bring our cat inside and leave it there, they won’t do her straight away as there are 4 other cats before her. We were told that they are going to call us when she is ready and and to not worry as there are 4 of them, of the staff ( to specify again that all 4 were doing the same one cat). Now to highlight the issue, we had appointment at 15:30 and after half an hour from our appointment we were told to leave our cat in there alone waiting at the queue of cats that were also left alone by their owners and they would call us in a few hours when she is ready. Am I the only one seeing a problem in that?
And now why I am annoyed.
1. We went and asked specifically about how they work only to avoid this kind of situation where I leave my cat alone in there. I specifically explained that and I was reassured that it won’t happen!
2. We waited 30 min to have someone tell us all those things, that we have to leave or cat in there and leave.
3. We lost 1 h of the day and my cat had to stay in stress for all this time for no reason!(as I said my cat stresses so much when is outside the house)
4. I had to take hours off from work for no reason! I wouldn’t mind it if I actually would use this time for what was meant to.
5. It was horrific seeing 4 people holding and shaving the same cat. That cat looked so stressed in there and the poor thing was having a mask on her face. ( I researched online and is normal for some groomers to cover the cats face with a mask if aggressive but I didn’t know this at the time and looked like torture for me). I think is traumatic for the cat to have 4 strangers holding her/him. I don’t think it was necessary having this amount of people around a cat considering that there was one guy literally holding one single paw.
To make this clear I am leaving this here only because I want to spare people some time if they think the same way as me. I wish I would have known all these info before stressing my cat for no reason. More...

Still waiting for my right order two weeks later. Ordered cat and dog food and was told they'd have to change the dog food as the one I ordered was out of stock. They then sent 7 packs of cat food instead of 3 cat and 4 dog. Informed them of the mistake and they said they'd dispatch the missing items ASAP only to be told 5 days and 2 enquiries later that they were still out of stock of dog food.
