About

I use a science based approach to help tackle anxiety disorders such as depression, stress, weight issues, sleep problems, phobias & fears, and work/sport performance. Evidence has shown that by combining Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Hypnotherapy you can make fast, effective, and lasting change.

Q&As

Giving people hope. So often just allowing people a chance to share their problems, and to normalise their issues creates such a powerful response. They realise that they're not alone, or odd, but just human.

I have always been interested in people's behaviour from my early days training to be an actor. People have always fascinated me. But it was when my father-in-law began to suffer from chronic pain and anxiety that I became really interested in helping people with anxiety, and anxiety related issues. I saw first hand how devastating anxiety can both on the sufferer and their loved ones.

My goal is to help people at a pre-clinical stage by providing fast and effective relief, and to give them effective coping skills so that they can move forward in life confident that they can withstanding anything life throws at them.

I use combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Hypnotherapy which studies have shown to offer an extremely effective therapy. My approach is completely evidence based and is supported by studies.

Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) is a form of talk therapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. Hypnotherapy, on the other hand, is a type of therapy that uses hypnosis to help individuals access their subconscious mind and change unwanted patterns or behaviours. When these two therapies are combined, it is known as cognitive-behavioural hypnotherapy (CBH).

CBH has been found to be highly effective in treating a variety of psychological and physical conditions, including anxiety, depression, phobias, chronic pain, and addiction. The combination of CBT and hypnotherapy allows for a more comprehensive approach to therapy, as it addresses both the conscious and subconscious aspects of a person's psyche.
Furthermore, a study published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology found that CBH was more effective than CBT alone in treating anxiety disorders.
