My little boy has been going here for nearly 14 years and whilst doesn't always like the thought of a groom comes out looking so smart, fresh and smelling beautiful. Petmania make a huge fuss of him and they all are so caring. Since the change of management a year ago, this groomers has gone from strength to strength. Gina and her team are so knowledgable but more importantly so caring of the dogs that it is a pleasure to go there. My dog, i must admit, was initially so poorly groomed and so knotted that she had to be groomed quite short the first time i went there. Gina made it clear that they put the well being of the dog before the vanity of the owner so although I wanted a particular cut, she helped me understand that it would have been harmful and cruel to my baby to groom in the way I wanted. The decision was left to me to go ahead or not. Gina even suggested that I could get a second opinion from another groomer (what business would normally be confident enough to suggest going to a competitor!!) or a vet. I decided to go with Gina's recommendation and 3 grooms on my gorgeous fur baby is looking better than she has ever looked. I can't recommend this place highly enough. 5 stars. More...

I usually only put (electronic) pen to paper for really bad or really good service. Pet Mania falls into the latter camp. I changed my groomer after my dog was attacked by another dog when the salon left her in a pen with other dogs after her groom . I never thought about the stupidity of this until the attack. I was recommended to Pet Mania after a change of ownership a few months ago and I have to say I couldn't be happier. The staff told me Lola would be put into a dog crate after the groom. Previously I wouldn't have been sure about this but it now makes sense. However they called me 20 mins before the groom finished and Lola was ready to pick up when I arrived. Louise the groomer was amazing, my princess looked wonderful and Gina and her staff were really knowledgable. I even found a new brand of shampoo and some doggy perfume (don't judge me but she smells great!). The prices were reasonable and they also offer a collection service although I don't need this. In the past I have had calls from Groomers to come and get Molly as they are struggling to groom her or it has been suggested that we sedate her before grooming! ! We were completely unsure what to do next, meanwhile Molly was getting more dirty, matted and smelly!! Then there was Gina and her wonderful team at Pet Mania. She assured me they would sort Molly out and the bottom line is they have. Molly runs into Pet Mania to see Gina and her team. We can't believe it and we are so delighted. Gina and her crew enabled to me to stop worrying and have done a great job!!! 100% recommendation particularly if you have a rather 'sensitive' dog like Molly.... More...
